Great to protect scale models!
Item just as described and VERY well packaged most importanly at an amazing deal! I bought the "frequently bought together" package with three bottles they arrived a day late but that's on the carrier...overall VERY satisfied customer and the product works GREAT I use it to protect scale models I build...I'm even going back for some thinner, go browse their store! Thank you aztoyhobby.com !

Basically the only Gloss Sealer I'll use
I build resin models and Mr. Color's sealer line are the only ones I've found that truly give me the results I want. For those unfamiliar, Mr. Color GX-100 is a glossy topcoat sealer meant to be sprayed through an airbrush. I typically thin this product 1:2 sealer to thinner and spray around 15-20psi. I usually thin with generic lacquer thinner but can see how self-leveling thinner would help out a lot. It's easy to go overboard and spraying too harshly will result in some "snowy" buildup on surrounding areas (maybe I just need to thin it more? lol) so take care when spraying. The closest alternative to this would be Mr. Color GX-112 which is basically the same product but contains UV resistant properties (so your topcoat doesn't yellow over time). If you're looking for an alternative to Future or spray can sealers like Krylon, this is about as good as you'll get.

Great clear gloss but dangerous to decals
The best clear gloss I have found for use over Tamiya's solvent-based acrylics on military models.Beware, though! When thinned 1 to 3 with Mr Leveling Thinner 400 and sprayed on "wet," as it should be for maximum gloss, It will attack some decals and crinkle them. To avoid this, mist on a couple of light coats over the decals first and allow to dry before applying the final wet coats.

One of the best clear coats in the modeling hobby.
Lays down easily with your quality airbrush or even a beginner one. Self levels at room temp and creates a stunning cover.

My new "Go-To" Gloss finish
This stuff is wicked awesome. It is rapidly replacing Future for most (but not all) of my gloss coat needs. It is thick like corn syrup out of the bottle but thins with Mr Color Leveling Thinner. It sprays beautifully and is extremely fast drying- faster than Future in fact. You can spray Mr Color Thinner neat over the gloss coated surface to smooth out the finish and improve the gloss. Like all Acrylic and Lacquer finishes, it is thinner in cross section than a comparable enamel, so a bit more care in handling is required to avoid chipping the surface. Surface imperfections and flaws can be sanded out but you need to use extremely fine grades of micro mesh to do so (3000 grit and higher)

#1 clear coat for airbrushing!!
Mix this with leveling thinner to use with an airbrush and you will never use another clear coat again. Used this for final clear coat on 1:43 scale sized models. 1 bottle mixed with the thinner will clear coat 3-4 cars. Used 2 of these bottles mixed with the thinner and still have 1/3 of thinner left.

Glass smooth finish
This product works great as long as you thin it enough. It’s like Karo syrup out of the jar, but a 2 parts thinner to 1 part GX100 mixture will result in a smooth flowing spray.
