This one can take a bit to sink in as well similar to the essence but it does depend on your weather and skin. Mine is dry so it sinks in pretty fast!I recommend the entire JIN JUNG SUNG line!

I am new to essences but i really like this one as it leaves my skin super soft. I use it in the morning on damp skin and then leyer it with sunscreen. I have rather mature skin, no wrinkles but large pores and occasional breakouts. This product does not irritate akin or cause breakouts.

It is important to note that everyone’s skin is different, as someone who is of south East Asian descent, my skin tone is a bit on the darker side. After having used this serum on a nightly basis, I noticed that it does a descent job at hydrating my skin, however it also ended up making my skin darker/more yellow looking as well. This is not what I wanted, I have stopped using this product since. If you do not want darker/yellow looking skin, do not purchase this product.

I use the Essence and love it so naturally I thought I would add the Serum to my routine. Unfortunately it irritates my skin. Kind of a burning feeling and it turned red.

This creamy-colored serum is pretty watery but it feels amazing. It is very runny. I think it really helps heal and calm down any redness in my skin. I am using about 5 drops from the bottle twice a day and I can't believe how hydrating this stuff is. It works well with my other skincare with no weird pilling or stickiness. Wow, this serum is so hydrating! It feels amazing on my skin, with no discernible (or at least memorable) scent, and no irritation to my sometimes sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized, and it looks plump and clear. It never feels tacky or sticky or greasy. The packaging is gorgeous, with a heavy glass bottle and beautiful gold lid. The product itself is much thicker than I was expecting, but then, this type of large glass bottle usually holds a toner or essence, not a serum, so that's different. It's made with loads of skin-loving ingredients, but they left out all the bad stuff like parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, and silicones. It's even gluten-free. Jin Jung Sung is a Korean brand, and I love that it is reliably vegan and cruelty-free!The only thing I don't love about this product is that the bottle, while lovely to look at, isn't the best for dispensing a relatively heavy product like this. It feels more like a bottle for a much more watery product, like a toner. Since it holds a thicker serum instead, it can be a little tricky to actually get the product out of the bottle. You have to shake it to get any serum, and there's no way to control how much is actually dispensed, which can be a little wasteful. I would love to see a redesign in the future with more product-appropriate packaging. Still, aside from that one complaint, this is fantastic stuff, and something I'll definitely keep in my skincare routine for the foreseeable future, for sure. It's really, really nice.
