I used this to go out and air up an old bike that was in the shed when we bought this place. the bike is still fine but the tires were flat so it was the perfect test. I had never seen one of these before but he knew what it was so we agreed that I was the one who should test it as a first time user.I just screwed it on and it filled the tire pretty quickly, it was very simple and straightforward. This is a great addition to any biking kit. He said they work for pretty much anything smaller than a car and they could theoretically be used on cars too in an emergency if you had a few of them.So the question of price comes into play.Do you feel that this item is worth the price (Currently $11:56) ? well, if you are stuck somewhere with a flat tired would you be willing pay that much just to get home safely? I am pretty sure I would on an emergency basis. 4 stars.*If this review helped you make an informed choice about this product in any way I would appreciate it if you take a moment of your time and let me know by hitting the Helpful button and letting me know. Great compact pump for bike or inflatable scooter tires
This is a very simple device that uses a disposable C02 cartridge to inflate any pneumatic tire, preferably something smaller like a bike, scooter, or motorcycle. The C02 cartridge comes with a little "koozy" thing on it, like you would put on a 12oz can. This makes it comfortable to hold and keeps it from making noise if you have it in a saddle bag with some other common bike tools. The cartridge just screws on to the plastic part and you screw that onto your tire's valve and twist the red knob open the release the air. The manual says how much pressure to put in the tire but there is no pressure gauge so unless you have one, you are going to need to go by feel. For roadside inflation, it's a nice compact solution and even if you use this as your normal bike pump it's a decent option. Cartridges are very inexpensive and should last a while if you just have one or two bikes to maintain.Changing the cartridge once it's empty is easy and overall I'm happy with this little device. I've only ever used a normal bike pump or my compressed air tank but this is a great little tool for people with limited space or to keep in a repair bag. Quality is very good and I expect this to last a while under normal use. I didn't notice any leaking at all once the cartridge was installed and the red knob closed all the way.

Fast and cool
If you know the goats head thorn, then you know the bane of my existence. I ride a scooter that has an air tire to and from work. Every week or so, I get a flat that I need to repair. So I carry a full size spare in my backpack along with a repair kit. That includes a mini pump. That pump has a chuck that's difficult to attach because of the angle which the valve sten sticks out. And once I do get the chuck properly seated, it takes about fifty pumps to get the tire to pressure. So I saw this co2 pump and thought I'd be a great add on to the kit. Here's how it went. The canister was simple to screw in. I could feel the seal break. The screw on chuck made it very easy to attach to the valve stem. I then barely turned the knob to the open position and that little 200x50 tire was fully inflated. Taking off the chuck, I was concerned that some air would escape since screw on chucks don't pop off immediately. No air escaped. The valve stem was a little cool to the touch. So I'd say that this was pretty successful. Simple and fast. Couldn't ask for much more. But if I were to ask for a small change, I'd like to be able to use the non threaded co2 cartridges. So a full enclosed system would be nice. I don't know if the threaded cartridge will leak over time, but I'd like to use the more readily available non threaded ones and have a couple on hand in the repair kit.

Compact size and uses 12, 16, 20 or 25 gram threaded cartridges
This is a review of the Luft CO2 Bike Pump with CartridgeApparently there are similar, if not identical, CO2 bike pumps such as this sold under different names. Be that as it may, this is a lightweight, compact CO2 bike pump. You can use 12, 16, 20 or 25 gram threaded cartriges with it although the foam sleeve will only fit on 16 gram cartridges.I've used CO2 bike pumps for years and they are generally quite reliable. But you do have to be careful that you don't accidentally snap your valve stem while using them. It's easier to do that than you might think if you've not used one before and your valve stem is long. This has CO2 flow regulation and seems to be something that should be long-lasting.

Easy, compact, and lightweight
I've always used a hand pump to air up my bicycle tires. However, I'm older now, and have arthritis in my hands, plus my new bike has 4" tires. I also like that this is so small, and easy to carry. My only concern is that I may need more than one cartridge, or a different size cartridge to fill one of my fat tires. This appears to be all you need: the screw on chuck, a 16g cartridge, and a foam sleeve to fit that size cartridge. I won't know until I have a flat how well it will work, but it appears quite simple and straight forward, so I don't anticipate any problems. Until I get to know the tires better, I intend to carry a spare cartridge, just in case.

Great design, just make sure your valves are screwed in tight
I'll keep this short:1. The design of the chuck is great and it's well made.2. The CO2 unit included is a 16gram; good for full pressure on one road inner tube.Overall, this is perfectly designed. I like that it has an open/close on the side so you can full screw in the container before inflation. The one thing you need to watch with this design is, make certain your inner tube valves are screwed in tight. If not, you're valves will likely unscrew as you unscrew the chuck, after use.Recommended. 4 starsCheers!
