Great small unit for a single room!
Got this almost a week ago because the humidity has been bad in my area and we live in a rental built in the 50’s that does not have traditional hvac. I wanted something that would work on my bedroom, the ones being sold at the Home Depot were just overkill and out of my price range. This is the little dehumidifier that could! I love it. It’s perfect for my 13x11 bedroom. I dump it once a day and it pulls out about 1 and1/2 to 2 inches of water in the reservoir. It’s quiet, it works well, it’s aesthetically pleasing, and gets the job done. It exceeds my expectations and I may purchase more for other rooms in the house. Great price for the size. Works well. Perfect for a single room.

Strong lil machine works great!
Placed this in my unventilated laundry room which is a 4x6 foot rectangle area. We live in South FL. Within 24 hours it was halfway filled with water. This works so well! The room is still warm, but less humid and less smelly. The noise level is minimal and not distracting at all. The design is easy to understand and the weight is perfect for the size. Definitely will buy this again for other areas.

Underperformer
We found this dehumidifier did not do a great job at removing humidity from the room. After setting up the unit and letting it run for about 14 hours, it only collected a small amount of moisture, no more than a few ounces. The amount of airflow from the outlet seemed very weak. The manual says the dehumidifier should be able to remove 34 ounces of moisture from a 30C room if humidity is above 65%. Our room is not that warm, about 24C (75F) and humidity has been above 70%. We were not impressed by its performance. For its size, I also thought the machine had a noisy fan. I haven't even had this for 24 hours and I've already started the return process.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Seems solid for the price but a few minor hang-ups
I have no frame of reference for how effective one should expect a dehumidifier to be or how to measure and quantify the change in humidity so I can't speak to that, but I've had it running for a day in my apartment sized walk-in closet so far. I'd say it's collected about a tumbler glass worth of moisture. Normally I use the damp-rid disposables in my closet and it usually takes a few months to fill one of those up, so by that metric it's an improvement. Having variable fan speeds, a timer or humidity sensor to shut itself off periodically or at a specified ambient humidity would be nice to keep from having it run longer than needed and improve longevity of the unit, but for the price it seems good enough. I don't know where they get a 98oz tank capacity from. I haven't measured but there's no way 8 beers is fitting into that thing, 45oz at most.

Perfect for closets / bathrooms
This is a small, simple, attractive, and effective dehumidifier. Just plug it in and go. The lights are a nice bonus for closets and hallways , bright enough to use as a nightlight, but may be a bit bright for light sleepers who need total darkness to sleep. It is fairly quiet, a lot quieter than the larger dehumidifiers I have used in the past and quieter than a bathroom fan. Unlike other dehumidifiers I have used , this one does not have any controls or settings for fan speed or humidity levels , nor is there any readout that shows current humidity. I really wish it at least showed the current humidity level so that I would know how effective the humidifier is or if it's worth keeping on or if its working but not putting out water because the humidity is low? However, the excellent customer service offsets any possible shortcomings. Seller is quick to respond, easy to understand and eager to help. A product is only as good as the seller who stands behind their product!

Effective, quiet and sleek - great dehumidifier!
I purchased one of these dehumidifiers a year ago and have since purchased two more to add to my home. I live in a very humid city, especially during the Spring and Summer. These dehumidifiers look great, are quiet, and effective. I appreciate the auto shut off feature, and how easy they are to empty.

De-what? Uses electricity for nothing.
Well, I looked at so many, I guess I confused myself and purchased this one. There's no option to set humidity level and only one speed setting, so basically you run it until it burns up. I liv in Central Florida, yes , right now it's the rainy season. Humidity is above 70% making the feels like temperature ten degrees higher. So, this has been running for 3 days, and it hasn't collected maybe a third of the water collector. I had another brand and it required dumping the bucket twice daily. It was more expensive and I don't have the cash right now, but this isn't worth the savings, because it doesn't do anything. I don't need colored lights and it's pretty quiet, just doesn't do it's intended purpose. And Amazon doesn't pick up from disabled amputee's home for free anymore, so I guess I'm stuck with it. Going to Wal-Mart in future. They pick up returns for Their members. Bye Prime.
