Good image quality, day & night. Good quality screen. A lot less glare/reflection during the day than other lower cost models. Very usable as a digital rear-view mirror, day & night. Can store video as x256, meaning many hours of recording. Good user interface, good mounting hardware (2 sizes of strap). Nice option of either sticky pad of screws for rear camera (and optional bracket).I've tried 3 different brands of rear-view mirror camera, and this one is head and shoulders better than the others.Note that the pictures on Amazon show the camera on the Left side of the unit. However Amazon will send you a version with the camera on the right side. Camera on the right gives a slightly better view of the road ahead, but it overhands your rear-view mirror by ~5cm on the driver's side, which may obstruct the driver's view in front. If you think this may be a problem, contact the seller - they have a version with the camera on the left (overhanging the passenger's side of your rear-view mirror by ~5cm).Customer service from Wolfbox is second to none.

It is a fantastic device. Arrived very quickly. Once you see the package you realize it's a quality product. Very well packaged, everything it's inside. Screen, cigarette lighter adapter, rear camera, GPS antenna, rubber holders, memory card and a plastic tool for hiding the cables.Installation is very easy. Just put the screen on top of existing mirror and keep it in place with rubber bands provided. It's very secure. There are 2 sets of rubber bands, for different sizes of mirrors. Being USB C connector, it means that the cable can be installed either direction, left or right.Then just route the cables with the help of the plastic tool.Rear camera can be installed inside or outside. I choose outside. Just removed some plastic trims from the boot and I have found holes to route the cable to outside of the car. There I used the adhesive patch provided to fix it above the number plate. Also you have wires to patch onto the reverse light cable if you want guidance line when reversing. It's very easy.GPS antenna I mounted inside the left front pillar. Just remove plastic cover with the provided tool. You can stick it or just leave it there.For power you can use the cigarette lighter adap6 or the hardware kit. I used the second. Very long cables. Enough I think for any car.Instructions are very detailed. Open the fuse box, locate an empty space that has power only when the contact is on and then you're set.As for the camera itself, it's great. I've had other cameras that albeit good enough quality in daytime were very bad when dark. Light from the cars in the back will produce a lot of glare making the rear camera useless. This one it's great. I don't know how they made it but it doesn't have glare. As soon as the car behind it is only a few meters behind you can clearly see and read licence number. Also that applies in daytime when you have the sun in the back.No longer you get blinded when you look in the screen.Setting is a breeze. Very intuitive. Just a few steps and you're set. Touch screen very responsive.You can use it with the screen off, just like a regular mirror. Only a bit darker. In daytime it's ok , night time it is a bit too dark. But when you reverse it comes on automatically and you can see behind the car.Very recommended seller.

My ownership of this product has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Please read the whole review of it before making your decision.The goodThe unit is really good. Video quality is excellent. Menus are easy to navigate. I bought the hardwire kit (separately) and found it easy to wire in, including wiring it to the car's reversing light to get the added functionality of reversing camera with red/amber/green parking space markings when putting the car into reverse. (If you don't wire it to the reversing light you can still use the rear facing camera whenever you want but you would have to select that video feed manually on the screen and you don't get the red/amber/green markings).The badAfter about 2 months the unit stopped working. I do not know why but it may be linked to me removing the SD card while the unit was on (MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT POWER ENTIRELY BEFORE REMOVING SD CARD AND DO NOT POWER UNIT ON WITHOUT AN SD CARD INSERTED). The unit was then effectively "bricked" and would not allow anything... I couldn't reset it or get to any menus.Customer servicesWolfbox customer services are contacted by email and the first thing I will say is that there is no question that they are on your side and wanting to realise your problem. I spoke to an operative called Alice on and off for a week and she was amazingly supportive and helpful. The downside is that customer support is based abroad, I'm guessing China, and hence I would receive a replies to my emails overnight which made for quite a long email exchange. The other downside is that I was sent instructions how to reset the unit but these were in a poor chinese-english translation and some of the instructions literally didn't make sense. I have already fed this back to wolfbox customer services so hopefully this will improve.The excellent.After a week of emails trying to reset the unit which was unsuccessful, customer services just send me an entire new unit (pictured) so I am good to go again.I wish I could give 5 stars because I love the product but for the reasons above, I think 4 is fair.Thank you Wolfbox, and indeed Alice, for your support!
