I had previously bought a retro styled clock in moss green, with gold hands that immediately got stuck on each other and stopped working. The color scheme also made the clock face hard to read (gold on green etc) so when I threw that out, I resolved to be ergonomical and just buy a digital clock I could easily read from anywhere in the room. This fit the bill. It was economically priced, I liked the blue LED instead of the usual red, the face has a slight curve that gives the unit a little sense of design, it's very easy to set up and I like that it has a power plug (USB out to A/C adaptor) instead of batteries or having to charge it periodically (although charging is an option). There is an alarm feature, although I don't use it as I'm using this clock in my living room. I've only had it about a month but so far I'm very pleased!

Looks really good 3 different types of alarm sounds, Big enough to read from across the room. Easier on the eyes during the night or day.

We just needed a basic (without any of the unnecessary "extra" features like color-changing, date, +remote, etc.) clock to put out in our living room that had large numbers that could be seen clearly from across the room. This did the job perfectly! Numbers are clear, and there's a dimming feature as well if you want them to be fainter. It has basic clock functions as well, but, we honestly haven't tried them because we haven't had a need to mess with them. The clock itself is pretty self-explanatory and easy to use, and works for the purpose we bought it for: to just be something to tell time and be visible from far away and at day or night.The reason why we're giving it a 4/5 stars is because the bottom/stand portion is made from super cheap plastic. Ours came broken/split on one of the corners despite being in a box within the larger shipping box. Even broken, the clock still stands though, which was why we didn't bother to return or replace it. Nothing a quick line of super glue won't fix!

Surprisingly accurate. I had to buy a bedroom clock to replace a low cost one from a Chinese site that kept losing minutes per month. I settled for this one in blue. It looks cheap, but is very easy to program, which comes in handy with Daylight Savings Time. I am most impressed with its accuracy. I like the large, easy to read numbers and I have it a light level that doesn't disturb y sleep. Overall nice unit.

Update: purchased just over 8 months ago, and now suddenly one of the LED lines has died. The lower left vertical bar no longer illuminates, so now when it's 8:00, it reads as 9:00, which is rather disconcerting! I didn't expect to have a problem this early; down one star.I wanted a small clock to put near my TV in my "den", because I'm usually watching TV there and lose track of time. I had an older digital clock with red LEDs, but it's just too dim to work in that room. I wasn't looking for an alarm or anything fancy, just something to tell me the time.This clock does just that (plus it has an alarm). The numerals are bright enough to read, even though it's placed near a window. It seems to be fairly accurate (2 months old, and pretty much on time). It is listed as having a USB plug, and I guess it does, however I was expecting a normal computer type USB cord. The plug/cable that came with it is a little short for my needs, so it would have been nice to be able to substitute a longer one.Biggest surprise - it doesn't adjust for DST. Granted, the description doesn't say it does but in this day and age, I was surprised to wake up this morning and notice that the display still showed standard time. It was easy enough to set the time, but it did seem a little odd (unless I missed a feature somewhere). Fortunately, I'm not using it to wake me up. It's certainly not something that would keep me from buying another one, but just a heads up for people who may need that feature.

Worked fine for a few months and then one of the "arms" on the numerical display failed, which looks kind of weird.Update:The US distributor noticed my negative review and sent a new replacement clock. So, I am satisfied, particularly with the customer service.

Updated review 9/22/24 on this alarm clock. The manufacturer contacted me through Amazon and shipped me an upgraded replacement. This one project's the time on the ceiling or wall. I love the new one and customer service is fantastic. They reached out to me. In all the years I've been using Amazon this is the 1st time that ever happened. Great alarm clock. I noticed about a week ago that the lower left light on the minute is blank. It's ridiculous that a simple clock like this is already junk. Never used it as alarm clock. I liked the color of the digits. Installed it on my dressing table. Very Disappointing

This is the 2nd one of the same clock but it's a little different. Loved the 1st one. (Top image) It was a lighter shade of blue, easier to read, and more pleasing. The bottom image is the one I just got. The numbers are larger but harder to read. Also, I don't like that blue. Both of these are at their brightest setting. Both are dimmable and function the same. I just wish they hadn't changed it.
