These Great Northern Popcorn packs are a total win for movie night! They make getting that authentic movie theater taste at home incredibly easy. Just pop a pre-measured packet into your machine, and you're good to go. The popcorn comes out light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned every time. It’s super yummy and a definite go-to for me. Pros: - Authentic Taste: Seriously tastes just like the cinema! - Super Convenient: Pre-measured, no-fuss packets. - Great Pop: Almost no unpopped kernels. Cons: - The initial smell when you open the packet is a little off, but it fades completely once popped. - Even though I still love it, I do find myself getting a little sick of it after too many bowls. Despite getting a bit tired of it sometimes, these packs are a staple for a reason. If you want easy, delicious movie theater popcorn, grab these.

Everything is portioned making it simple for events or rentals. Have had no complaints and people seem to enjoy to taste and convenience of it. A bit pricy but worth it compared to juggling multiple products.

Currently, at a buck or less per bag, this is the best value portion packs we've found, anywhere. That it was made by the manufacturer of our machine was a key reason we gave it a try too, and we were so satisfied we've already ordered another. We're new to home popcorn machines, but the results we get from this is much better than what we were getting from Orville kernels, popping and topping oil, which was always extremely plain, before adding some movie theater salt. The flavor of these portion packs is pretty balanced, a one size fits all so to speak, not too salty nor too plain. Some will want more butter or more salt, but anyone desiring less probably doesn't want seasoning at all. Subjectively, I like my popcorn a little more buttery, but this has a great taste as is and you can always add some pour over to the bowl, if you want more butter. As is it doesn't sit on me as heavy as when adding extra butter though, so I can enjoy it more often. The salt content was just right for our family. Because the butter/oil pouch is congealed, I did find it easier to squeeze out the contents into a scoop before adding it to the kettle, rather than trying to squeeze it out into the kettle itself, which was a bit awkward for our 8oz Great Northern popper. The instructions recommends heating the kettle for 5-7 minutes and then adding the entire portion pack at once. But Great Northern's site actually recommends adding the butter/oil pouch immediately, letting it melt until it starts to steam, and then adding the salt and kernels. As long as the price stays the same, we've found our new popcorn staple. Update 080719: We bought another case, and have discovered the quality may vary or they've changed their recipe. With some pouches all the popcorn looks white with a lightly salted, lightly buttery taste. Other pouches, presumably from the other case (they've all gotten mixed together on the shelf) the first half of the pop is VERY buttery, but then it's like the butter runs out, leaving the second half mostly white looking. You mix it all together and it's great, no need to add any extra buttery topping of your own. We've also come to love popping the unpopped kernels! Which there are a fair amount of kernels that go unpopped, as they get carried out of the kettle by the other popcorn popping before they can pop too. What's great about this is when you pop them later - the kids call them repops - it produces something like kettle popcorn, all roundish popped balls, which we find a great change of pace. It doesn't pop up as fluffy the second time, so it'll look like you got less popcorn from an 8oz cup. But it's just because they pop smaller the second time. Almost every single kernel pops the second time around. I guess that's because they don't open up so big that they carry other kernels out of the kettle.
