Fantastic better than nerf
fantastic blaster power and accuracy without having to buy new springs and modding kits, and yes opponents say they hurt :-)

Powerful blaster, not for kids
This blaster is powerful. It hit hard and fast, and shouldn't be used by children. I would not recommend to fire this at a person, and be careful shooting it inside as delicate items may be damaged. This blaster is hard to prime compared to say the nerf echo or commander, which both have a similar top handle prime. After I'd fired off about 50 rounds or so I developed a blister on my palm, so I would recommend wearing gloves to play with this. Due to the amount of strength needed to prime, and the lack of slam fire I would not take this to a nerf war, as it takes too long to fire off several rounds. For plinking it out performs all my other blasters in everything but speed. I found it quite difficult to both load and unload the included mag, especially when trying to take the half length mag out of the adaptor, it was very stiff and required considerable force. On the plus side this thing can take both half length and full length darts. I tried this with my full length worker mags and they fit great. This thing is very accurate, maybe twice as accurate as my nerf eltie 2.0 blasters, and fires further. On top of that you can load multiple darts into the battle at once using the little button on top of the blaster, so that's fun. You can actually top load the blaster when the priming handle is pulled back as there's no jam door, it's just open. So in a pinch you could single load darts in fairly quickly. The front barrel just slides into the front of the blaster. It's big enough to fit a nerf mega dart, and yes it will fire these. There's obviously a great seal on the barrel, so this is really smart engineering. I don't have any rival rounds but I'm sure it would fire these too. It also comes with 2 spare O rings in case you break one, and it looks like it would be replaceable without taking this blaster apart. The blaster looks really cool, and I really like the black and orange look. I have knocked a star off for ergonomics; a blaster should not leave me with an injury after 20 minutes of play. Overall, I regret this purchase. £40 is too steep for a blaster that I cannot use outside of plinking. However, if you're a pro player and play on 150fps+ leagues and you want a spring primed, magazine fed blaster this would make a great side arm, or even a primary. The lack of a stock attachment point or sling attachment point is disappointing, as it means you can't just sling this up without modification, so I have removed an additional star, although really i would rate this 3.5/5
