Exactly what I needed great value for money

I have an old jeweler's hammer, I inherited from an old watchmaker. I thought I would try these out when I ordered them. Since I'm using the hammers for watchmaking, I thought that these hammers would be heavier, maybe more substantial. These hammers are light, basically good for the more delicate stuff. Not really suited for say, hammering link pins into a bracelet. Also the handles make it a little difficult to balance the hammer. The head of course, makes them top-heavy but the thin handles make them a little slippery. I would have liked handles that were a bit beefier to handle the head and improve the grip. But, I think if you need some light hammers for delicate jewelry work, maybe with gold or sterline wire, then this might be just enough for you. I'll have to keep looking though, for a small hammer that is a bit more substantial.

Used for tapping coffee grounds out of reusable k-cups. Works great.

Only complaints are listed weight, shows both hammer weights and not individual. Handle bar is to thin to hold good, needs something added like a couple layers of friction tape. Bought with idea it was a 3 ounce plus hammer. No issue with hammer head being loose.

My wife dos model horse show crafting. She is always building and make scenery and other items to support her hobby. These little hammers are just right for working on small items such as crafting projects. 5-stars
