The key will not code to my Fiat Punto Evo at all, I have had the blade cut and it works fine in the door and does go into the ignition. However when I tried to code it to the car it said that "the key has a transponder with a secret code that is incompatible" I did check the listing where it shows to make sure that the key is a Delphi one, which my original key is, but it will not work. So all this key can do is open and close my car.

if you want to simply change the fob part of the key, this wont do it. First concern is that it arrives with no instructions whatsover, so you have to rely on the internet. I wanted to just replace the fob and keep my key but the new key wont come out, i tried but then a joint snapped off which meant my purchase was a waste of time. IF i knew it wouldnt come out i wouldnt have tried to remove it. Why no instructions? Wont be buying from the same seller again.

We plan on having the key cut as soon as we can find someone to do it for us. If we can get it cut then we won't be so bothered about the remote working (others have had problems with this).

Would not program say not a dealer key

This is the plain key that you need to get programmed and the key part cut. Whilst it is exactly the same type of key as mine it appears that it won’t work, according to the Fiat garage I asked. I have a 500L and my key case is broken and I don’t have a spare. I was hoping I could just simply transfer everything over to this key case but it doesn’t work like that. Not really much use to me after all which is disappointing.

This key wouldnt program to the car .and I know it's not my diagnostic machine as it's never let me down

j'ai démonté la clé d'origine pour connaître le n° des fréquences et le code du transpondeur, ils correspondent aux valeurs mentionnées sur le site mais ne peuvent pas être programmées chez Fiat, la puce n'est pas conforme, c'est de l'argent jeté à la poubelle! Jamais plus, l'origine est chère mais elle fonctionne.
