Many of my friends wouldnt be seen dead in a Wetherspoons and my long suffering wife would like swoon and have an attack of the vapours were I to suggest lunch let alone dinner at a local spoons. I feel almost like Jackson Lamb for those of you familiar with Slow Horses as I enter one of the local Spoons in our neighbouring towns as our Hampshire market town would never welcome one of the greatest social successes I have witnessed in my 70 years.Wetherspoons is a social marvel and whilst it has put many pubs out of business through an aggressive marketing model, the pubs have revolutionised drinking and dining in many of our towns, saving cherished buildings and offering people a chance to enjoy reasonably priced food and drink for those who are not so well off.I had to buy these cards for n other reason than they are a veritable guide to many of the most attractive wetherspoons establishments scattered across the country. Whilst I am still left to visit these pubs on my own, it is comforting to see them jam packed with others who share my views and can really appreciate what they offer.I love these cards. Top trumps for adults. Good value and a must for anyone who values what is a great addition to British social life.Well done Sir Tim.

Are you a Wetherspoons fan. Then this is a perfect gift or for yourself to those who like the brand. Trump is an easy card game to play for all ages. My daughter and her friends took this game to play whilst dinner at Wetherspoons and the staff thought it was hilarious.
