I purchased this mat because I was looking for something that could help keep my pool deck less slippery. I have a coating on there which can make it slick at times. I bought this mat to keep my pool deck from getting slippery. I have a coating on my deck that makes it slippery sometimes. This mat was exactly what I needed. It's long and wide enough to cover a high traffic area. The holes let the water drain and keep it from sitting. I like the material, it's sturdy and so far it's held up in 90 degree weather. Mat doesn't get too hot. I like the feel, but it could be a little softer. But it doesn't hurt. Consider this mat if you’re looking for traction and reducing water on your deck. I have no doubt this is as good as any other 'pool' mat.

We are using this on our outdoor travertine deck. The travertine gets EXTREMELY hot in the summer from the brutal Arizona sun so we thought to cover it with this product. Water from the pool drains away through the mesh and the plastic does not get so hot as you can't walk on it. Paw approved from our pack of pups.

Purchased to use in kitchen area of travel trailer. Edges started to come apart after 4 weeks of use.

The area around our pool is pretty slippery when wet. We got 2 of these and have them going up one side of the pool. They work great! Not slippery at all. And the design makes the water go right through them so they don’t get gross. The mats are out in the insane Florida sun all day and they seem to be doing great so far. Highly recommend!

It was great at first.... did its job to protect little hot feet on cement pool deck and kept the children from falling when running. However, only lasted for the summer. Purchased in July and now in October, I have to get rid of it because it is deteriorating.
