One of the best decisions I made was buying this fan. It arrived in good time, well packaged and completely intact. It looks beautiful sitting in the room either on the floor or on a table in front of my window to pull fresh air into the room. I'd been finding our warm weather made life uncomfortable and couldn't get cool with the small fans I've had for years, so I ordered this more high powered one. Even on level 1 it cools the room down very quickly, within five minutes it's much cooler and more comfortable. I've been giving it a short blast on the higher levels (because I actually get too cold if it's on high for too long - it's that good!), and the rest of the time setting 1 is more than good enough. The carry handle on the back makes it easy to take through to my bedroom in the evening, and the cool air has me once again enjoying a full nights sleep rather than being woken up halfway through the night due to the heat. It seems like a tough enough fan that I'm expecting to get years and years of use from it. It's hardly been switched off since I bought it and I can feel no heat at all from the motor. I can still comfortably watch TV with the fan on and hear everything clearly. It makes a noise, but I find it quiet and non-invasive. My little tuxedo cat loves lying in front of it and it's obviously giving him some relief as well - he can be a little scaredy-cat but even he isn't disturbed by the noise. If you're back and forth trying to decide on a fan I can testify to this one's looks, power and ease of use. I love it so much that I ordered a smaller, 12 inch one so that I don't have to swap this one to my bedroom in the evening. More than worth the price.

Perfect fan for hot weather it feels like an air con. It is a bit noisy but I don’t mind the noise. Just watch for little fingers.

This product is indeed, a fan. It blows air as it should, cooling my very warm body on a hot summers day in the UK. I am very pleased with it's cool air despending technology and would recommend this powerful beast to any hot bod like myself. Big floor unit and great price. Looks industrial, so is my body... So... Yeh... Not too noisy, but to be honest I'm normally grunting over it after walking around in the sun like a hog near a fire pit. Very functional.

This works fine - and probably good enough on its lowest setting. Basically happy with the fan tho not a particularly quiet device (guess none of these fans are). Bought to force cooler evening air through the house in a heatwave. I have noticed you can get essentially the same fan at Morrisons (while on vacation) a lot cheaper. Looked the same with a different badge and like a seasonal stock item given where they were on the shop floor.

Works as advertised, loud as is to be expected but very good at cooling me in intense heat within seconds. Build quality is great, no doubt this will last many years. Almost looking forward to next heatwave so I can use it more.

These are excellent fans. I’m so pleased with them that I have purchased 3 of them. A good size, easy to move around the house. Three power settings- they have cope extremely well with the recent temperatures of 30 plus. A strong and sturdy build. They are a little expensive, but they are excellent quality and long lasting. My first purchase is over three years old and works as efficiently as when bought.

I have extreme sensory issues with temperature and I hugely overheat in summer. I am very picky with my fans because a lot of the plastic ones offer little airflow, however this is so nice and cold. It keeps the room cold without being too loud and without vibrating the entire desk. It's a lifesaver for me and definitely good for the price. The only downside is that it can only blow air to where you point it, but that is what I wanted anyway so I am happy. It only arrived today so I cannot give any review about long term use.

Dieser Ventilator ist ein Klassiker. Man sieht ihn überall dort, wo viel Luft bewegt werden soll und es auf die Lautstärke nicht so ankommt. Ja, er ist laut, für ein Schlafzimmer auch auf niedriger Stufe zu laut. Dabei ändert sich mit der Drehzahl die lautstärke Richtung Pfeifen, während ein sonorer Grundton gleich bleibt. Aber wer benutzt einen Bodenlüfter im Schlafzimmer ? Wie eingangs erwähnt, soll er viel Luft bewegen, in Fitness-Studios und das tut er. Messwerte (unkalibriert, da Handy-App): Stufe 1: 42 db(A) ungefähr Gesprächslautstärke Stufe 2: 44 db(A) lautes Gespräch Stufe 3 52 db(A) doppelt so laut wie Stufe 1 Positiv ist noch zu erwähnen, daß der Käfig zum Entstauben geöffnet werden kann. Natürlich keine App, kein Schnickschnack, keine Drehzahlanzeige und ein angemessener Preis: Retrodesign, Retroeinfach, retrobewährt. Die Lautstärke führt zu keinem Abzug, sie ist leistungsangemessen und der Hersteller wirbt auch nicht mit einem leisen Gerät.

j'avais le même en noir, il avait au moins 6 ans et malheureusement il à cesser de fonctionner. j'ai donc racheter ce qui me semblait être quasi le même car j'en était très satisfaite. mais celui là s'avère plus puissant en vitesse 1 il envoie de l'air comme si s'était la vitesse 2 de mon ancien. Je suis ravie avec la canicule qui s'annonce en ce début de mois d'aout il sera la bienvenue, assez gros pour mettre dans mon atelier et profiter d'un peu d'air. Prix plus que raisonnable vu la grandeur. 3 vitesses disponibles, la vitesse 3 est très puissante !

Petit mais puissant ! Je n’achète que ce type de ventilateur, car la puissance pour brasser l’air est vraiment top. Incomparable avec les ventilateurs en plastique. Facile à nettoyer, car se démonte très aisément. Dure dans le temps. Excellent appareil !
