Update - July 23, 2016: *Sigh*. It has happened again. I purchased a "moderate" quality item that is serviceable, because of the relatively LOW PRICE. And then, when I post a 5 star review, the price shoots up to something SO UNREASONABLE that I can no longer recommend it. Folks, I paid $14.99 for this Throw Blanket. The quality is decidedly MEDIOCRE, but it does the job and at $14.99 it was a bargain.However, now I see that the price has SKYROCKETED to $45.00. My 5 star review stands, only because YOU CAN STILL GET THIS AT $14.99 IF YOU CONTINUE TO LOOK. But please, please do not pay $45.00 for this. it is a cheap piece of microfiber that is soft and warm, but for $45.00 you can get something really special. You really have to be careful on Amazon, because prices fluctuate wildly.So. 5 stars for the low, low price of $14.99. 1 star for the exorbitant price of $45.00.Now, read my ORIGINAL REVIEW below:ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased two of these in burgundy and they are beautiful! I'm so pleased with the rich color, generous size, and soft, warm texture.I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this and so the fact that they are not knitted and there is no fringe was something I was willing to accept. They were about half the price of the higher end throws, and I went ahead and ordered them and hoped for the best. I was so pleased when they came because even though they don't have high-end touches, they are beautiful, warm and exactly as pictured in the ad. The bonus is that even though they are very reasonably priced, they are significantly larger than the higher end knitted throws with fringe. So no cold spots where the blanket doesn't quite cover everything! :-DIf you want something to curl up in while drinking your tea and reading your favorite book but you don't want to spend a lot of money, you have found a warm, attractive alternative that isn't high end but still good quality and and does the job beautifully!

Edited (at end) to update how it’s held up over time.....This was one of my very rare Amazon purchases that was made without research and comparison. I had been on the lookout for a nice blanket to go on my bed (as a throw to drape on the bottom), saw this in a lightning deal and was pressured by that pesky timer (you know the one that tells you your time is running out to get the deal) to go ahead and purchase it.....I 100% believe I could've held out and found a better option for the same price or a little more but hey, too late now. And honestly? If it only lasts a few months and stays this soft, it will be well worth the $11.1. Size: 5 of 5. Its the perfect throw size. No complaints in this dept.2. Color: 5 of 5. Exactly as pictured. Perfect grey.3. Softness/Cozy-ness: 5 of 5. Its surprisingly soft, like I can't quit feeling on it soft....I probably shouldn't love a blanket (softness wise) as much as I do this one.4. Thickness: 4 of 5. I did not want a thick throw so it works out that this one is thin. But its that kind of thin that feels like its cheaply made or poorer quality. I am worried it won't hold up well.5. Quality/Craftsmanship: 4 of 5. All stitching is perfect, I can't find any defects anywhere. But because of the material I can't give a 5 because I do predict after a few washes it will look worn/used more than it should.Overall, it is super soft and thin enough to be used as a throw. If you were buying this as your bedding (twin/queen/etc), I don't believe it is thick enough to keep you warm overnight. I would in no way describe it as fleece or as flannel (as the packaging says), it is as soft as sherpa but without the thickness. For $11, I am overall happy w my purchase, but I wouldn't pay $15+ for this blanket. We will see how it stands up overtime.Update: This is where I come back and tell you my predictions were total crap bc this throw blanket is still hanging out comfortably at the end of my bed after MANY washes....but that wouldn’t be totally true since my 10yo daughter is a blanket klepto and has stolen this one (along with the 5-8 others I’ve purchased before/after this....I seriously don’t know where she stores them or why she needs them all) because as she says, “it’s so much softer than all the others”. So despite it appearing “cheap”, this throw is a freaking champ. As soft as ever with no holes or defects at all, despite being washed at least twice a month.

When this blanket first arrived, I held it up to my face, said ‘It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!’ and chuckled to myself. I set it up as a throw to make the guest chair in my office a little more inviting and colorful.Little did I know my exclamation would be prophetic. The very next day, I found my furbaby almost too relaxed to remember to breathe.Despite it, he refuses to leave the almost womb-like softness and warmth of this thing which is the blanket equivalent of Flexaril.I can’t get him out of it. I’m afraid I’m going to lose him. Thanks, Bedsure – for a killer blanket.(In all seriousness, the cat is fine. He loves the blanket, and so do I. When he’s willing to share.)

I remember back when I first bought this blanket in 2015, this item barely had a few dozen reviews. So happy to see the vast amount of growth that this product received. I’ve had mine for three years and all I can say is that this blanket stands the test of time. It still has the same ultra soft velvety texture. The navy color hasn’t faded and the high quality stitching holds up well with no loose seams. It’s a light blanket, but has kept me warm through thick and thin. Whenever I wash my comforter I’d temporarily substitute it with this blanket and even in cold winter nights when my room got below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, this blanket still kept me warm. Whether you need an extra throw blanket or something you can use daily, I’d highly recommend picking this up.

For a bit of backstory: Was staying in my brother's university flat out of town for a few days and he recommended I buy this, because as students, to save money, their flat decided not to turn on the heating for the entire year. Yes, I know. The first night it was 11 degrees Celsius in his flat. This is a true story.This blanket probably saved my life. I wish that was a hyperbole but to be honest I'm not sure I would have woke up the next morning if I didn't have this luscious blanket wrapped around me like a toasty fleece burrito of warmth. Bought the king size so I could wrap myself up in it multiple times and I have no regrets. 10/10 purchase.

Nicely made, very soft plush fleece. I washed this before writing this review, because I wanted to make sure it would stand up to a machine wash and tumble dry without losing its handle and feel.Pleased to be able to say that it washed well without losing any of its softness, little if any colour run in the first wash, nothing subsequently.Washed on a 30c cycle as per instructions, and it's been tumble dried on a 'wool' cycle.Hasn't shrunk or felted.There has been a little shedding of some fibres in the lint trap, but nothing excessive. The throw lost the sheen it had when brand new, it's now a matt colour (I bought it in brown). That's not an issue for me.Bought as a furniture throw to protect upholstery from dogs, it does a good job.Being plain, rather than decorated with pawprints, hopefully it won't go 'walkies' with guest's dogs at the end of their stay.At the current price of just under a tenner, it's definitely on the money for value compared with similar throws, whether you want it as a pet snuggle blanket or for yourself.

I bought this because our dog has taken to sleeping on top off the bed. It's big enough to tuck in at the bottom and sides should you want to(I have a king size bed). Washes well. nice price. Would recommend. Dog loves it plus it keeps my bedding clean.

This has to be the softest blanket ever. It's extremely luxurious and a dream to sleep on. The purple colour is a beautiful, deep, dark purple. I'll be buying another, perhaps in a different colour.Edit: I purchased another in red and it's as luxurious and lush as the purple. Like lying on a cloud :-)
