I personally use it without the top cover for a more vintage look but overall couldn't be happier.

All around nice helmet packed with features. It has a flip down visor, pockets inside for helmet speakers and a detachable visor. You can also use goggles with it and it has the latching strap on the back to secure them. The crome accents and matte finish make this thing look awesome. When you have the visor off and use goggles, it gives it a cafe racer look. Even the paint jobs available for it each look great. Best decision on a helmet I ever made.

I got the helmet originally with just the “dark” visor but, I didn’t find it dark enough and was still wearing sunglasses underneath. The silver visor is the way to go. Looks good and actually does better than I thought with blocking the sun. I would say skip the dark one and get a clear and silver. Install was easy too, no instructions but I found a YouTube video for visor replacement. It’ll seem like you’re sort of ripping it out but, it just firmly clicks in and out.

Pros: Surprisingly great quality on the helmet. Padding on inside is really soft, thick material. Much more comfortable to wear than last helmet. Theres a leather strap on back for eye goggles. It looks great with design similar to shoei ex zero, but for a fraction of the price. I’m honestly amazed that this helmet doesn’t cost at least $200-300. It also has space inside for Bluetooth speakers which is great. Cons: The retractable eye shield is not as dark as I’d like it because you can see through it in sunlight. Also, I was sent a used helmet at first that didn’t have the sun visor, but I was able to get a replacement and resolved it but just make sure your helmet comes with all items and sealed properly. Lastly, I found that this helmet muted outside noise much more than my last helmet. Could be good or bad depending on how you ride. For me I felt less aware with not being able to hear as well, but I normally play music anyway so not a big deal. Overall it’s really great for the price and if you want to look like Batman (the movie may or may not be why I even bought I bike). I wear a black gaiter with mine right now during the cold and I feel it completes the look well. 10/10 helmet.
