This stuff is actually really good at helping to control algae. I was very impressed. I had terrible string algae in my pond, which is on the smaller side, and also has fish in it. It took a day or two, but it really made a noticeable difference. I would highly recommend!

Works great

It works for about 4 days in my water fountain. Then have to reapply it. It does not completely remove algae but it works better than some other brands that I have used. The picture and video show what the water looks like after 4 days in about 85 degree and sunny weather.

I was a little afraid to use this because of the problems associated with algaecide. But it worked exactly as described. I have a small prefab pond of about 165 gallons. I halved the dosage for 360 gallons and the results are amazing! When I started the water was completely green and one could hardly see the fish. Three weeks later the water is crystal clear and I can see 24 inches down to the bottom of the pond. No ill effects on my fish or the plants. I think the important part is that the pond is extremely well aerated and I clean the filter on a weekly basis. Fish now seem playful and swim over to me when it's time to eat!

Worked when large amt put in pond. Is harmful to birds. Found several in or beside pond so quit using.

Water appeared clear. Did not immediately get rid of build up in bottom of fountain. Instruction on bottle very helpful in how much to use.

I think the Pond Guy products are pretty much as advertised. I bought this product because I couldn't clear the pale green/brown haziness in my pond after attempting in non chemical ways. I've dosed 3 times in the last 6 days--each dose has resolved more of the problem, I'm almost there. DO adhere to the caveat about aeration in the pond when u use the product; I have heavy aeration in my pond but I saw that for the first 1-2 hours after each dose, the fish seemed a little agitated and came to the surface a bit to gulp air. They never seemed 'n trouble' and it resolved without incident each time, but head's up on that. I will be using this product when I open the pond each spring from now on.
