This is the tool to buy!
Just bought this. Just got it delivered. Just used this for the first time 5 minutes ago and had to write a review. I just bought this to fix a flat on my road bike. I have gone through 4 normal tire levers. They have all snapped. I have 700c tires and for whatever reason my front tire is always just extra challenging to get off an put on. I have bent metal shims, and broken plastic tire levers. I have also popped tubes because that final wriggle to get the last bit of tire bead over the wheel is just so tough. Knowing my issues I was really hesitant to just buy another set of levers, so looked at quite a few options. When I saw that helped put the tire on as well as remove, it was a no brainer choice for me. Holy crap did this work really well! I will say that it is a little bit different than other levers, so takes a minute to figure out how to apply it to get the tire off. But once I did, it just took a little bit of force to get the first few inches of the tire free, then it was butter. It also was incredibly easy to put on. Literally just insert and pull the tire around. I have never replaced a tire this easily! I am really impressed. I was hesitant about three things: 1 - durability: having gone through several other levers I wasn't sure if another plastic option would be suitable. However it seems pretty clear that this is robust. The plastic is thick in the right places. I'm not going to say it won't ever break, but I will say it doesn't appear to be easy to break. 2 - single lever: all of the systems I have ever use have been 2 levers. One that holds to the spoke and one that pushes the tire off. I wasn't sure how this would work without the primary lever to hold that tire off of the wheel. However the mechanism that makes this work is great. No need for it. 3 - too good to be true: when I watched the video I wasn't sure it would actually be that easy but it really is. Works great. One thing some people may not like is that it probably isn't something that can clip to a bike easily - however it is small enough to easily fit in an equipment bag. No hesitation to recommend this! It's awesome.

Works! Nice innovation to eliminate the struggles of mounting bicycle tires
I was in the middle of putting tire & tube back on a 700c/29er rim when this arrived. I can't say yet how good it is for tire removal, but that's not the hard part. Getting your tire back on the rim, that's the hard part. The Tyre Glider put my tire back on the rim MUCH more easily than using the usual plastic tire levers that we all carry. O.M.G. easy. As always when mounting tires, it is MUCH easier if you pay attention to keeping most of the bead that you're working on in the central depression or valley or channel of the rim. Watch a few YouTube videos and heed the advice on positioning your body and the tire & rim: the easy motion is forward and downward. Forward and downward. If you watch a demo video and they don't show the forward and downward motion, you are not watching the right demo video. Keep looking! Watch "John on a Bike" to see a guy struggle the first time. He also did a later review of the newer, red model of Tyre Glider. Watch "James Social Cycling" to see a guy using the tool backwards when he first mounts his tire. He then does it correctly at about the 4 minute mark, and he reluctantly admits that the Tyre Glider works well. Watch "Tom Stringer" to see a roadside repair of a flat tire, done by a fellow who knows how to do it right. Watch "Ride with Roy" for the inventor AND A NOOBIE demonstrating on some difficult tires. This gadget is a really, really good innovation for do-it-yourself bike maintenance. It is small enough and useful enough that it easily earns its place in your on-the-bike toolkit. I recommend the Tyre Glider highly.

Made installing tires much easier
Makes installing new tires much easier. For me, it worked best when putting the tires back on the rim. I still needed a standard set of pry bars to get the wheel off the rim, but once started, this tool made quick work of removing it. Would recommend to keep in your tire tool kit.

Ease of Use
I had high hope for this working and it did just that. I have been riding for 10+ years now and have had my fair share of flat tires in my life. The hardest tire to put back on would be my 27.5 x 2.6 Advent race tire on my mountain bike. I physically could not get the tire back on with tire irons, they kept breaking on my. With the Tyre Glider and some muscle, the tire went on within seconds. Highly recommend this tool. I know I'll be keeping this on me at all times now. Quality: The quality is what to expect. Thick plastic that will wear down over time. Would not recommend for a tire shop.

This is a must have!!!!
This is a must have item in your saddle bag and/or your workshop. This is a game changer for removing and installing the most difficult tires in the market. I was part of a very large and successful support team that road in the RAGBRAI event in 2025. Our support team recorded more than 450 roadside punctures assists. As a team we can’t not officially endorse any products, but you know the who the Angels of the Road are next to you during this event. But I personally used this tool on more than 20 assists over the 7 days and everyone was amazed by the results and speed that I could change a tire with this tool. It’s a huge help that will replace your tire levers completely! This is the perfect stocking stuffer for any cyclist in your life. They will thank you for it!

Easiest 5 star review I've ever given.
I've done hundreds of reviews on Amazon over the years. I've seen many 1 star products, many 5's, and everything in between. The Tyre Glider is by far the easiest time I've ever had giving out 5 stars. I ride a Fairlight Strael with Hope 20five wheels. I put GP5000's on it. If you are a cyclist you see where this is going. Back when the bike was new and I got my first flat out on a ride I thought "no big deal, I've got this". I've replaced countless flats on my previous bike. I get out my regular tyre levers and get to work. Several swear words and a few bloody fingers later and my tyre remains off the wheel. Deflated, I call my wife for extraction. Finally, at home, after googling all sorts of tricks I manage to get the tyre back on the wheel. I don't think this is feasible to do on the side of the road. It took too much effort and time. I certainly don't want to be holding up the group on a club ride for a half hour. How in the world will I do this when the temperture is around freezing? Should I go tubeless? I don't really like the idea of that either. There has to be a better way. Enter the Tyre Glider. I popped this thing out of the package and tried to remove and replace my tyres. I had some new TPU tubes I've been meaning to try out but haven't because of the hassle of the tyres. Let me tell you what. In less than half the time it took me to put a single tyre back on a single wheel I had both tyres off, new tubes installed, tyres back on the bike. Zero swear words. No blood! It was soooo easy. Old tyre levers went right out of the saddle pack. Don't need um anymore. Someone else on a club ride had a flat and was struggling a bit mounting the tyre. This is my chance to wow the club. Tyre on with almost no effort. Back on the road in record time. Even if you don't have a super hard time getting your tyres on and off this will still probably make it easier. And you only need one in your pack. I usually always had to use two regular levers. This is quite simply a game changing product for me!

Helps, but NOT a 100% solution, in my experience. Add another lever and you will be ready.
Helps, but NOT a 100% solution, in my experience. Add another lever and you will be ready. You are supposed to get the tire off with the "scoop" part. But the rest of the body, at a right angle to the scoop, gets in the way. You cannot get the scoop under the bead because the rest of the tool is in the way, right where the rest of the tire is. I see the guy in the demo video perform this, but I just don't think this works on all tires. With my first flat experience, after several minutes of trying in many ways, I had to call someone to come get me. I was prepared for the next time: I used a regular tire lever to get started, and then used this tool to help get tire off. This tool is very helpful for getting the tire back on. When you get to those final few inches, you get the notch in there, and push on the push shelf part - this is way better than a regular tire lever. However, this only works if you use the right hand to push. I am left-handed, so it is a little awkward, and I am not as strong pushing right-handed. Offering a left-handed version would be great. So, in my experience, this tool is genius for getting tire back on, as long as you operate it right-handed. It is almost useless for removing tires. So, I carry a regular tire lever plus this tool. Having these 2 is way better, overall, than having just this tool, or having 2, or 3, regular tire levels. BTW: I use "all season" or "hard case" tires, with bead, because I want to avoid flats, and I do solo rides as well as group rides. So, changing a flat can be harder than with some tires. Most will eventually stretch to where you can get tire basck on just with hands, and I probably have done that more than using a tool to get a tire back on. I am no stranger to getting tire back on just with thumb power. Well, that is my experience. I hope this helps someone. i felt pretty dumb having an expensive, fancy tire lever and having to call someone to come rescue me cuz I could not remove tire at all with this tool, alone.

Awful. Worst ever. Not for MTB tires
Notice how the guy in the video is using it for his road bike tires but not for MTB tires? Yeh — well there’s reason and that reason is because it S*CKS for MTB tires. Th advertising claims that this works amazingly for ALL bike tires including MTB’s and that is false. MTB tires have three types of casing (aka sidewall thickness/strength) … trail, enduro, downhill, … all in ascending order from casing thicknesses. Trail should be the easiest to put on and it absolutely wasn’t so I’m not even bothering with using this for my enduro tires. After 15mins wrestling with this POS Tyre Glider, I went back to my “regular” tire levers. Not worth the money for all the “reviews hype” on here. No idea why people think this works amazingly
