Clarks Women's Sonar Aster Sandal

The Privos that I got a few years ago gave up the ghost so I was glad to see they still make them. These new ones fit the same and are just as comfortable. However, the material covering the footbed is plain rubber, which makes your foot stick to them slightly and then release on each step, and that leads to them making the same sound as cheap rubber flip-flops would make. In contrast, my old Privos had a suede-like material covering the footbed that I think was anti-microbial because they never smelled bad even after lots of walking and sweaty feet. I had even worn the old ones with a gown to formal events as I can't wear heels. The sticky rubber sound of the new ones make them unsuitable for this, but maybe applying talcum powder would help. In any case, Privo fans beware--the quality is not the same as it used to be.

This is a very pretty sandal and I liked the fact that you can adjust the strap to get a good fit. While the arch seems to be in the correct place, the sizing seems to be a little off. I chose my size 8M and while it fit, there was not much room to spare. A half size larger would be too big, and I didn't want to settle for something that is not quite right especially in a shoe that I plan to wear most of the time in the summer.The problem with these as with many sandals today is that all of the materials are man made. There is no give in the fit of the sandal straps and they begin to dig into your foot. The inner foot bed is also made of some hard, man made material, and while it did conform somewhat to my foot it too was uncomfortable. Kind of like wearing a shoe made of hard, ridged plastic. Considering that I just put the sandals on and put my feet up, they shouldn't have caused any noticeable problems. However, when I removed the sandals the straps left ridges on my feet. I can't imagine what it would be like to actually wear these and walk in them for any time.II chose the Clark's brand because it has been highly recommended, so this was a disappointment. Sadly, they must go back. Someone in another review mentioned that this sandal used to be made with better materials. At these prices I would expect comfort and quality. It looks like the only thing you're paying for with this product is the name of the company. When it comes to my feet, that's not good enough.

The previous model of these Clark Pr!vo which I purchased about 6 years ago hat no life left in the inner sole. Once as comfy as sneakers, no sad. After ordering the new pair I was stunned at the difference. while the inner sole is still prime and really comfy, I must say I was extremely disappointed in the upper material of the shoe. It feels very thin and not really worth the money. Aside from needing them 1/2 size bigger I will have sleep on it if I want to keep them. Not sure yet.

Wow, for a $50 pair of Clark’s these earn 5 stars! They do run big and I read the reviews before ordering them and ordered 1/2 size down. They fit me perfectly! Since these are synthetic and not leather (I prefer synthetic) they do not stretch much so if you have bunions you may want to try to go with your normal size and not size down. There’s some arch support but it isn’t high arch support. I am very pleased with these sandals!!

I love love these sandals. These are the second pair I’ve purchased. I have quite a few Clark sandals and shoes but these are my favorite. You can wear them with a casual dress or in your everyday casual wear. I love how well they fit and how comfortable they are. I was not use to the little bubbles on the bottom of the shoes but they actually help message your feet as well as keep the bottom of your feet dry. The only thing I dislike about this shoe is the length of the sandal strap in the back. I wish they were a little bit longer.

Many years ago I had a similar pair of Clarks sandals and they were my favorite. I’ve been watching for a while for a similar replacement since my old ones were getting worn. I was so happy to finally find these! I’m between an 8 1/2 and 9 and the smaller one was perfect. With all my foot issues, I am loving these most comfortable sandals!!

LOVE these! Would definitely order again. I wore them at Disney world for my sandals every other days trading between these and tennis shoes. So comfy! No blisters. And with walking 20k+ steps a day in the park I must say these were awesome.

Fit is in line with sizing on other Clarks sandals. The colors of the beige one are chic and seem to go with most outfits. My only beef is with the heel, it's curved a bit two narrow to the sole and it rolls your ankle easily. Otherwise pretty and sensible enough for me to put up with that!

I just received a new pair from Amazon. My first pair is 6 years old and I was still wearing it because I couldn't find these in any store. I am so glad I found them again. These sandals are not advertised enough; they are so comfortable, casual, not too bulky, feminine, ..... but the comfort is unbelievable. I wish I can get few pairs to have a supply for the rest of my life. Please Clarks, don't discontinue them.

Good walking shoes that hold your foot. I can even dance in them.
