I have a 2011 Mini cooper. My key fob was not working for locking and unlocking the car. I bought this fob case and it was easy to switch the electronics from the old one to this. I now have a fulling working fob. Great item just as advertised.

The key FOB for my 2010 Mini lost the trunk button so I ordered this case. I was worried that the chip board would not fit inside this new case, but it fit inside perfectly and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a 2007 mini Cooper S, I had to literally destroy my key fob to get the guts out of it and this key fob does not actually work. It will not hold the key in and the buttons barely work and you have to really press them hard a whole bunch of times just to get it to lock and unlock when you hold the unlock button down. It does not roll the windows down anymore because the button doesn’t press well enough on the internal component, this is absolute garbage do not buy it!

I had to get a replacement key from the dealer but did not opt to get the insert key cut to save $100. so I had no way of attaching to a key ring. I bought this and was able to insert the key uncut into my working fob from the dealer. Worked great
