Bought and installed this for my partner. Seller was excellent, with messages asking if all was ok, and whether I needed any help or support for the doorbell with installation and use. Was straightforward to set up with home wifi and mount the device on the wall by the front door. Video and audio capture is excellent and so far it’s working perfectly. My partner loves the way you can use a man’s voice on the app when talking to someone at the door (great when home alone). App seems to have great functionality and is customisable to set sensitivity and detection areas. Added a high speed micro SD card (128gb) for recording and playback. The SD card must be formatted to FAT32 high is straightforward (the app offered to format the card when I put it in, so we did this to ensure full compatibility). I feel this device is great value for money (and no nasty ongoing subscription fees like another certain doorbell brand!) . Certainly recommend!

Not a bad camera door bell and on the face of it is good value. Really easy to set up and good quality footage. The only thing letting this device down is the claimed battery life of around 180 days. That is very optimistic, I would estimate 50-60 days is more realistic, but it might stretch a little further in warmer weather, time will tell. **Update** had this camera since October and the only flaw is the battery life. I thought like most batteries, the warmer weather would maybe help, it really hasn't. The battery was at 3% after 50 days, less than one third of the claimed life. So I contacted Aous through their app and their response was very fast. Lynette in their customer support team was very helpful and they have sent me out a new doorbell. I am now happy to report the new camera doorbell is a vast improvement on battery life. It's unlikely to reach the claimed up to 180 days, but is on course presently to reach around 130-140 days, I am happy with that.

The AOSU Video Doorbell Wireless has exceeded my expectations! Setup was very simple and straightforward, and the doorbell connected instantly to my Wi-Fi with no hassle. The 2K HD video quality is sharp and clear, and I really like that I can download clips directly from the cloud or save them to an SD card for direct access. The rechargeable battery holds a charge for well over a month, depending on usage, which is very convenient. When the doorbell is pressed, the connection is extremely fast, and the instant notifications pop up right away on my phone. The two-way audio is very clear, making conversations smooth, and the motion detection works reliably, capturing activity even if the bell isn’t pressed. The simple, stylish design looks great on any door and fits perfectly with the home aesthetic. I also love that unlike my old Ring doorbell, I don’t have to pay a ridiculous annual subscription fee just to view my clips. With AOSU, I can use local storage with a microSD card or the cloud to securely back up footage, making it cost-effective in the long run. I’ve already recommended this doorbell to a few friends and relatives, and they’re all very pleased with it too. Overall, this is definitely a step up from my Ring doorbell, excellent quality, reliable performance from AOSU has led me to purchase their other products, no hidden costs, and highly recommended!

My first venture into Doorbell cameras. Bought this for my back door which is a bit closed in to add to me burglar alarm system as I was about to embark on a 6 weeks holiday to Australia and wanted a bit extra security. It was very easy to install, link to my Wifi and set up the app. I charged the battery before I left. Trialled it for a few days before we left , worked very well, good video and very speedy alerts. Didn't opt for the iCloud update. It has worked perfectly , even in Australia I was getting alerts and video within seconds of the event occurring, of course world wide technology helped with that. Three months later and in constant use the battery is sitting at 66%. Big advantage is only an upfront cost and no monthly fees to pay so very economic. Thoroughly recommend, I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I purchased this over 1 year ago and it is brilliant. Great quality camera and saves to SD card in the receiver unit in the house so its not accessible to tamper with from anyone outside. The movement sensitivity is perfect always catching anyone at the doorway either loitering or pressing the doorbell. The app is great with all options available in menu. I had an issue after 1year in the sound not working and customer services sent me a free replacement which shows great company as it was few months out of its warranty. Great value for money and I would highly recommend. It has no monthly fees when using a memory card or you can have a monthly subscription to cloud memory if suits your needs.
