Fancy Nancy: There's No Day Like a Snow Day: A Winter and Holiday Book for Kids

I recently sent two of these books to young girls in my family. Their mother's tell me that they love them! One of the recipients is a great granddaughter that I have been giving "Fancy Nancy" books to since she was about two years old and she has always loved them. Sent this one to her recently for her 7th birthday, so guess she willl be outgrowing them in another year, maybe sooner. But I have a new great, great grandbaby waiting in the wings that I will start sending them to very soon now! And one of the recent ones that I just sent went to a little grand niece that will soon be two years old, and it is her first "Fancy Nancy" book (it was the "There's No Day Like A Snow Day" one) so I think we are going to have another "Fancy Nancy" fan in our family! You can't go wrong with the "F.N" books for little girls. One of my great granddaughters who is now nine years old and has graduated to more complicated reading but was a F.N. fan for years before outgrowing them! And she is a superb and avid reader now at nine years old!

My niece like this gift

Colorful illustrations. Great story for children in the 'snow states' and for children who have never seen snow! Snowmen on the last page (with stickers included) for added activity. Darling paperback book. My Florida 3-year-old grandchild LOVED IT! Great Price, too.

We love Fancy Nancy, and my kid loves snow, so this book was a no-brainer. I liked how the parents had to go to work anyway, even though it was a snow day for school (realistic), but I was surprised they came home and took Nancy and Jo-Jo sledding AT NIGHT. Not sure about that...My kid loved the stickers. At the end of the book, there is a drawing of four snow-people, and the stickers can be used to decorate them. That was her highlight, for sure.

My daughter (7) LOVES Fancy Nancy! These books are so great and she can even read them. We enjoy them so much and the stickers are a nice bonus!

This series is part of my life now. This Dad loves reading these cleverly written, well-illustrated books to his daughter, and each season, each event is done well. (I personally love when children's books are far from chores). Nancy Clancy - so glad you moved into middle grades mystery-solving texts as well. A treat. I love Apple Picking/Fall Nancy tales best.
