This is a pretty decent gate latch. Easy to install as instructed and does the job. The profile isn’t very big so it doesn’t stick out too much which is great. Good overall.

Needed a way to lock the cat out of my office for video calls. Installed these on French doors and this does the trick. Should be strong enough for our Corgi too.

The quality, fit/finish, is crude at best. I was missing a wood screw, the bag was sealed but only 3 were inside. The latch works as described overall. It just isn't pretty.

- So I received what was obviously a returned item that had not even been repackaged properly. As seen in photo, the box is all torn and the item is protruding out of the box because someone didn’t fully insert it again. This could be because I am an Amazon Vine reviewer and they decided to send me a less than proper box. But that really doesn’t speak well of the company to not even bother correcting the packaging.- The product inside of the box did appear to be unharmed and the bags of screws were still sealed.- Sturdy medium duty (not heavy duty) latch. Nice low profile and matte black textured surface. Could look nice indoor or outdoor.- Complete dimensions provided in description photos, so I won’t add them here.- The motion of the lock bar is smooth and solid (doesn’t hang up but also isn’t loose and insecure feeling).- What is not mentioned in the description is that they also include a height spacer to adjust for discrepancy if needed. The media could not be loaded. Very straightforward installation...just inspect your door where you are mounting it first so you don't have any surprises. There is an extra plate included in this set and I needed mine in order to level out the latch (left bracket in the video). Since my doors are not super flush I have a little bit of my bracket hanging out over the lip (the right bracket in the video). Not ideal, but it works fine. It doesn't have the longest arm, so just be cognizant of where you need to install it.Overall, it does exactly what it says it'll do....nice latch.

This is a good little latch that I installed on my outdoor gate. It was easy to install, included a set of screw for wood and another set with plastic anchors. Also came with an additional plate I presume to offset either side if it's not even.The latch is nice that it can lock into a position when open. I have it installed in the 180 degree configuration, I would recommend when installing to have them as close as possible because the latch does need a tiny tolerance to swing out.It's also tiny, so while I was hoping to use it as a handle at well, you can only get a single finger on there to pull with.

This is a really good take on one of those sliding bolt latches. This has a really nice feel to it it's made out of solid thick metal. Is very easy to install only four screws. Make sure that you have it lined up just perfect before you screw in the receiving side because there isn't a lot of flexibility as the arm comes from the top down and fits right into the little hooking part of the receiver.

I want to start with a positive, this lock is awesome, heavy duty, strong and looks great. the box it comes in is thin cheap cardboard and was broken apart when I got it. all the part were just floating around inside the shipping envelope. I really like the lock but it got scratched up in shipping, which could have been avoided if packaged better.
