Depend on Duracell Rechargeable Batteries!
I'm looking forward to using rechargeable batteries. There is no way to confirm regular alkaline batteries are fully charged at the time of purchase. These can be recharged numerous times, and will save a lot of $$ in the long-run. The initial cost is higher, but the cost savings will be significant.

37% FAIL RATE. Dont waste your money on Duracell.
Ordered 4 packs back in Jan 16, 2025 for 5 Motorola walkie talkies. Checked my Motorolas today (Dec 29, 2025) and 2 Motorolas are completely DEAD. 6 batteries total. Other 3 Motorolas have 2 out of 3 bars of power. Guess I need to start checking them every 6 months. So far, NOT impressed with these batteries. I have NOT used my Motorolas since I installed the batteries 12 months ago. UPDATE: Jan 2nd, 2026. Tried charging the dead batteries for 24hrs. Usually after 12hrs the LED lights would turn GREEN for a full charge. 6 batteries either solid RED or intermittent blinking RED. Either way. All 6 batteries will NO longer hold a charge.

Came quick, not pre charges
These came fast. Yay. Says "recharges and ready to use" in small print. Not precharged... or stored at improper temps or long time and are discharged. So charging. So maybe 4 stars. Sigh. Will update later.

High quality batteries. I wish we did not need so many batteries. But thats the world we live in, everything needs power and atleast we can do our bit by using rechargeable batteries. The batteries last long after each charge, if used in the right appliance.
