Pyle mixer with Pyle Hum eliminator perfect sound no ground loop static
Outstanding unit simple to use great sound vocals and music, I've purchased several of these work great with powered speakers. Also purchased a Pyle mini hum eliminator. This combo works great. I've been doing Karaoke almost 20 years used many different setups this the Best most compact easiest system I have ever used. The hum eliminator is the icing on the cake. Wiring in some locations is subject to ground loop static hard to eliminate this combo thru a laptop works perfect. One caution turn all your equipment on before powering your laptop so all equip will be recognized by the lap top

Reliable mixer
First of all We are not stage performers. We used this mixer for small family programs and get togethers. So I can’t talk about how it works in a bigger settings. But for us It worked nearly everything you'd expect . And it’s very is to control. We paired keyboard, piano, violin and microphone. Everyone attends the program was very happy about the sound quality. For this price , it is a very great product.

Decent, solid, reliable
Pros: It does/has nearly everything you'd expect and they pack it all in rather neatly. The (to me) effortless BT pairing, USB storage manipulation, USB Computer Interfacing... all of it works as I'd hoped it would. Also, very low noise even when connected to a sketchy power supply. Neutrals: It doesn't have an amp, which seems about right for the price. Cons: One thing that I was not aware of, was not properly documented, and DOES make a difference, is that the external FX send and receive is only mono. In fact, the built-in FX for the most part sounds monochromatic too - which I can't confirm if it actually is or isn't b/c it isn't documented at all. For singular voices without a wide range, or _maybe_ a regular piano / acoustic guitar, it doesn't make much of a difference. However when mixing musical instruments with wider ranges it's the difference between sounding flat and sounding spacious. You'd literally have to intercept the stereo output of the entire mixer to get true stereo FX incorporated into the mix. I know this sounds niche... and it is... but it is important to know. TL;DR: This thing and it's brethren are great, especially if you want something legit & reliable hooked up to your computer or want to incorporate an external bluetooth source such as a cell phone into a decent mixer - i.e. weddings or house parties. However, I would not recommend this for poly synthesizers or anything with stereo pickups, and you want to add effects that bend or manipulate L&R channels.

Pyle equipment is from Brooklyn, USA, and I like it...
I'm going to say something, and you are not going to believe me. This Pyle PMXU83BT audio mixer, your computer, a few good mics, your instrument, your voice, some audio software, a pencil & paper, and a lover, and you can be The Beatles. I knew you wouldn't believe me. This is an amazing American product. It is an 8 channel studio mixer. It requires no knowledge of audio mixing. It will record your material without noise, without hassles, without a learning curve. SPECIFICATIONS: USB/FLASH READER/MP3 COMPATIBILITY: Connect your external USB, computer PC, flash drive or Bluetooth device to mix & record. Use the built-in controls to play/pause, skip tracks and switch between modes. BLUETOOTH WIRELESS STREAMING: Hassle and cable-free audio streaming ability directly to the console unit. This audio mixer can wirelessly stream music tunes from Smartphone with a mixing board. MIC AND STEREO LINE INPUTS: Supporting XLR and unbalanced 1/4" Plug with +48V Phantom button, highly accurate LED Peak Level Indicator and Ultra-musical 3-band EQ on all channels. Ultra-low noise, high headroom mixer with super easy functionality. RUGGED STEEL CHASSIS: With sealed rotary controls to resist dust and grime, this compact DJ Mixer will provide total dynamic control. This incredibly versatile mixer is great for high quality on stage performance, live gigs, and Karaoke. NEW MULTI-VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY: 100V-240V (+/-15V DC power adapter) ideal for worldwide usage. Enjoy a value-packed mixing solution today with performances that sound great each time. You can easily do your own podcast, start your own band, add narration to your movie, and do so many other things that there is not enough room to describe them here. One thing I am going to tell you. I am an audio engineer and though that I knew everything. I didn't read the instruction manual. Once you have it all set up and connected to your computer via the beautiful, one cable, all-purpose USB port, and the board lights up, there will be no sound. But the board is lit, and correctly wired to my computer. I finally read the manual for help.... Line 1) Turn the freaking thing on. Just because the board is lit does not mean it is on. It gets power from the computer AND the power cord, included. I was happy and ashamed at the same time. I got over it. Pyle USA is made in good old Brooklyn USA. As a decorated veteran, that makes a big difference to me. It's super light, yet heavy-duty, like a Sherman tank. It comes with plenty of groovy effects (reverb, echo, delay, etc.) built in. Yes, there's a send and return bus for external effects (there has to be - you're a pro engineer now, aren't you?), but, for the life of me, I haven't needed them yet. IT IS SUPER QUIET. That's how you tell a good board from a bad one. This is a broadcast-quality studio mixer. The only drawback is that it only carries 8 tracks at a time. But, then, even The Beatles started on a 2 track. This is a great product. Three thumbs up. Buy me.

Not a stereo mixer. Frequently just stops working.
Every so often, the device starts seriously garbling output (switching on and off several times per second, for example) or halting output completely. The device has to be disconnected from its usb input and powered down to fix the problem. I've not had it happen during a session yet, but it's going to be a pain when it does. It's something of an overstatement to use the word "stereo" with this device. You have no balance control whatsoever. It does have one stereo input (channels 3 and 4), but if you wanted to add a second stereo channel by using lines 1 and 2, note that the balance (left/right-ness) of those inputs will not be preserved. Both channels will be mixed equally to both outputs. There is no capability in the mixer to affect balance, so you cannot, say, split an incoming stereo signal to deliver the left channel to input 1 and the right channel to input 2, then set the stereo destinations for those channels to left and right. This device is not a workable solution if you need to mix 2 stereo sources. If you're trying to overlay multiple mono inputs on a stereo signal, you will not be able to put either of those instruments off-center. Everything will sound like it's coming from inside the listener's head. I wouldn't be so annoyed about it, except that the description contains the line, "1/4’’ Mono + Stereo Inputs". Note the plural on "Stereo Inputs," which is suggestive and misleading.

Good mixer, but crappy FX
Mixer is easy to use. Doesn't do everything (you can't pan each channel, so it's a 'stereo mixer' in terms of stuff you input through the aux, but not in terms of your main channels - and, frankly, that sucks - but for my purposes, it'll still work. The only horrible thing are the reverb/delay effects! I have another small Chinese mixer which has an excellent plate reverb, and an excellent hall program as well. The FX on this mixer are below average. Acceptable for the PA front-end I'm using it for, but definitely below average - which is strange, because it's easy to find decent digital reverbs these days. So, they absolutely should have added panning on all of the mono input channels, and they should have found better FX. But it's cheap, has enough inputs, is reasonably quiet, the preamps sound OK, so, it'll do. Bluetooth took a moment, and that's because the instruction manual is terrible.
