Q: Should I apply a top coat over the antique wax to make it last?

Top Coat is water-based while wax is oil-based therefore the top coat will not adhere to the wax. You can try applying wax last instead. Best to try it on a small discreet area first to check for possible issues.

Q: Which is the wax you can use to erase a dark wax? Is it your clear wax?

Applying wax over another may not erase it but will add to it more. We recommend removing it with a lint-free rag and rubbing alcohol instead.

Q: I’ve painted some glass embossed bottles. Can I use it over the paint?

Yes, you can. Try it on a small discreet area first to make sure there will be no issues.

Brought out the beauty!

The wax on my first chair was wonderful. I thought it would give a more finished piece. The country chic video said it would make it look more professional. They weren't kidding! As soon as I put it on and began to buff- all the distressing and light colors I brushed in shined through! Definitely an experimenting with country chic's products.
