Yummy healthy treats for our frenchie pup
Our pup loves these cod crisps. I bought these due to our frenchie pup being such a picky eater. I keep hearing that blueberries, fed in moderation, are very healthy for dogs. But our pup doesn’t care for fruits, so I wanted him to try these. They are not soft treats, but our pup can put the whole thing in his mouth and chew it very easily. He never chokes on these. They do smell like cod (fish), but given how much our pup loves fish snacks, I can’t complain. It is a tad bit expensive, but I love Honest Kitchen treats for my pup. They are healthy for dogs and contain only two fantastic ingredients - cod and blueberries! Give it a try. Your pup will appreciated them. There is quite a bit in the bag and will last our pup at least 2-3 weeks because we give him a variety of treats.

Best dog treats you can find!
We have a golden retriever. He's been eating these treats since we brought him home at 8 weeks old, and he is just as crazy about them now as he was in the beginning! **THESE CHEWS SMELL HORRIBLE** They smell like straight up FISH, because they ARE fish. Wash your hands after giving them to the dog, and make sure the bag gets immediately resealed well. Other than that, we haven't had any issue with the smell lingering or affecting the house any, and it's not bad enough to need to feed it outside. As soon as the dog eats it, it's gone. As with any 1 ingredient natural treats, the size and shape varies. Some pieces are VERY small, some are very wide and long. They are not going to take long at all for your dog to eat them, unless you have an extra small breed puppy. They are great for their coat and skin, and our dog goes NUTS for them! I cannot recommend this enough! Single ingredient treats are the only way to go for your dog's health, and this company has made a very affordable option to give your pets the best! This is marketed for dogs, but absolutely could be given to cats too. There's quite a lot in the packaging, about half to 3/4 the bag is treats (air is needed in the packaging to keep them fresh obviously), I would break them in fourths or MAYBE thirds for a long lasting cat chew and they'll last a really long time that way too!

Cod and blueberry fish burgers for my dog. He loves them.
They're high quality and my dog loves the blueberry flavor best. Every few bags is especially pungent which sometimes worries me about quality control and storage (is it fermenting?). They are pretty fishy smelling at baseline, but I grew up eating dried fish and squid so it really doesn't faze me.. If you've never been around strong fish odors, you may have issues, but many high quality dog foods/treats have a strong odor.

Wolfskin vs Cod
My 6mo mini Aussie loves the taste of these. She dropped the one treat she was eating to come get this one. Yes they do have fish smell but they are fish, so it’s to be expected. I bought both this one and cod, this one takes her around 10 min to eat where as the cod takes 30 + min. The cod she has to work much harder for, but the cod also leave more of a mess. The one ingredient is a great quality in a product! Thought price was good for what you got and size was what I expected. I would favor the Cod over the Wolfskin.

Irresistible!
These treats are absolutely irresistible to my dog. No matter where he is on our 2-acre property, all I have to do is yell 'Fish!' and he comes sprinting home and dives into his kennel. While they have a strong smell, they are much cleaner than other fish treats—no scales or bits left behind. The entire treat is on the harder side, and my dog eats every morsel. They are also fairly long-lasting, taking my Australian Shepherd about 10 minutes to finish one.

crunchy dogs loved them
I bought this bag and another brand of fish skins to give healthy treats to my dogs. Here's the difference in the 2 brands. This one had skins which were shorter and more of a precise size. And they were more dehydrated; thereby more crunchy and did not last as long. The dogs loved them but for bigger dogs, I would prefer them lasting longer than a small cookie. The other Icelandic brand had many more long skins per bag. All the skins were much longer and wider, but they curled up to sort of rolls when they dried, so you got a lot in the bag. They were at least 1/2 size larger, which allowed me to cut some off (easily) to give to the smaller dog while still having plenty for larger dog. And those chews were chewier and lasted longer. The dogs would take them and finish them off laying down...versus chewing them up immediately with the Honest brand. Both were loved by all 3 of my dogs. personally, I do think fish skins should be cheaper considering what it is and how plentiful they are. They both were 100% fish skins, so no other ingredients were needed. I found the Honest Kitchen brand too expensive for what I got. I really liked the other but down the road, I may dehydrate my own for the savings.

My dog loves these!!
My dog is an extreme chewer. Extreme. Chewer. She can chew through dental bones in three bites, and would easily inhale any other edible bone I gave her in the past unless they were super hard. I kind of gave up on finding her an edible bone, thinking she would just never find the one. Recently I decided to do some more research wanting to give it another go, and I came across these and my interest piqued. I didn’t want to do yak bones or antlers or horns because of personal opinions but also because I find those way too hard. I didn’t want my dog to chip her teeth on anything like that. Yes all bones can pose that risk but I think especially so for harder bones. To my surprise, these wound up being perfect. My extreme chewer can still get through them but it is NOT in three bites. She can happily chew on this for about 5 minutes but that’s actually more than enough time for me! I also didn’t like it in the past when harder bones that I tried would take her 30 mins to an hour to get through because I found it dangerous. I was surprised that something as thin and as small could be given to my extreme chewer but I’m so happy I found these. She has always been more of a fish leaning dog anyway (her pescatarian era), and she really loves these. They do smell like fish but it’s literally dried, real fish skin. I’m not sure what anyone expects. It doesn’t bother me though since my dog likes it so much.
