Works exactly as expected with lots of vocab
I was hesitant to buy this because another review was claiming a lot of the words were incorrect. We've been using this toy for a few weeks and while I haven't heard every single card yet, I haven't noticed any issues. Not sure if the other reviewer was noticing regional differences? Regardless, this toy works exactly as expected and I like how many words it comes with. The Chinese pronunciation is fine but the English pronunciation is British.

30% of the words are wrong!
I bought this little device for my 2 year old, and he loved it. But I starting notices that some of the word is wrong, I thought it was just few, but today I set down with my baby, and went through all of them. And almost 30% of them are wrong….. I am very upset, since all parents know learning a new word for baby is not hard, but try to correct them is way harder! It’s been teaching him the wrong word! I speak both Chinese and English, I can put up with some wrong spelling, but come on! 30% wrong for words!!??? I want my money back!!! But I already throw away the package…. Since my kid loved it! Ahhh!!! So frustrating!

Kinda cheap
My first order came with opened damaged packaging. My replacement came with damaged packaging. I wanted something simple for my little one to be able to get some mandarin exposure even when I'm at work or busy, so it serves the purpose. If you find better option, go for those. These are barely worth the money.

Perfect self-driven learning for toddler
I bought this as a toy for my 4 year old daughter. My parents are from China and have spoken Chinese to her since she was born. She also has a few "my first word" books that are in English and Chinese, but I always have to read them to her because my husband doesn't speak Chinese. These flashcards are a great way for her to learn some Chinese vocabulary on her own. She loves them. We spent an hour going through flashcards last weekend and she just kept reaching for more. I had to actually stop her and put them away because I needed a break, haha.

Great learning experience
This a true winner for teaching language for kids !!! I bought this for a gift for Chinese friends that just brought over their 4 yr. old daughter from China, and she really loves it and so does Mommy. So easy for the little one to use !!! Bilingual Talking Flash Cards are equipped with a built in rechargeable battery and comes with a USB cord, so you can use this right away once you receive it! Can't go wrong buying this item.

Had to return for defect, but rather have just Chinese without English
I had to return this because it stopped charging after a day of use. I think I got a defective one. I also did not like the English translation. I rather just have Chinese.

A lot of words are wrong....
I like the fact that a lot of words all right but I don't want to go picking and choosing which ones are right and which ones are wrong seeing as how I don't completely fully speak Chinese but I do know enough to know some words are wrong and when checking in the comments below another mother who does speak Chinese said that 30% of them are wrong I thought it was just a few but after checking a lot of words are wrong and it's not worth the purchase unless they correct the error but if you would like to pick out the right words from the wrong word then you know Chinese then it would be okay but I'm not that far yet
