Piano Student: Primer (David Carr Glover Piano Library)

If you are thinking of giving piano lessons, this is hands-down the best series to use. If you are an adult, you could almost teach yourself with this book. This series was definitely created with the learner in mind. The songs start like this: First song - only two fingers in the left hand. Second song - only two fingers in the right hand. Third song - two fingers both hands. Fourth song - three fingers in left hand. Fifth song - three fingers in the right hand, etc. Very easy to build up.

Perfect for beginning piano students, adults and children both. Nice font size. Not too small. I highly recommend this method if you are a music teacher or just wanting to learn to play the piano. It starts with a middle C approach and gradually introduces other hand positions toward the end of the book. I especially like this method book for young children just beginning piano lessons. It's by far the best method book out there for young beginners. The font is large. The pieces are short, but most are familiar to everyone, especially children.

This book is the same series my piano teacher used when I was a child learning piano back in the 1960's. It is as relevant and classic now as it was then. I am currently using this to teach my own grandson. I was so happy to find this series!

Great book

We ordered a different book and this one came instead. The company was amazingly willing to find the replacement and work with me on finding the correct book...very impressed. This one was too easy, but still has great instructions and worth every penny.

One of the greatest beginner books!

Started using this book 20 years? ago and still prefer it to any others. So glad we can still get it.

This series is wonderful!! My piano teachers used it with me and I use it with my students.
