The phone works as a basic old phone. Stands pretty tough like the old originals. Even though it’s made in China, it seems to be steady. Only time will tell.

It's a beautiful phone. It's cranberry red. It's a traditional desktop touch tone WITH A TRADITIONAL METAL BELL RING! The phone is brand new. The volume control on the bottom is very easy to use. It's a regular toggle switch. No auto redial which is fine with me. I'm delighted that real phones are being made! I certainly had been looking long enough!

Very chintzy. No heft to it. When you set something down, you want it to stay put. This will pull right off a table. The jacks in the back have only 2 wires, not the proper 4 wires. The cord is also a cheap, chintzy plastic, 2 wires. The coiled cord has proper wires. The bells have a switch with two positions. One position reads louder. Suggesting there is no ringer off. There should be a wheel that adjust the bell louder and softer, and there should be heft to the item. It's as if it is for props only. Not made well, nor with quality one should expect for paying for.

I love the look of this phone, also a great weight so it stays where you put it. So easy to use and easy to keep clean and sanitized.

These bells are not very loud, sound more automated than clear sound of the bells I remember. I will now have to find how to get bells put into it for volume.

I bought this phone mainly for nostalgia. I'm going through a phase of longing for my childhood. I just love it. My kids think I'm losing my marbles. It's also very practical because when my mobile signal gets ridiculously low, I use this. It's good to have a back up if the mobile networks are down. The ringer is very loud. This can be adjusted below. It's extremely sturdy.

Good basic landline phone; nice and clear and loud enough. I have given up on the dial versions; having had 3, they all fail after a year or so, missing numbers and noise issue.
