I loved this case until the band snapped. The size and protection are exactly what I need. The bands broke at the attachment point after about a year. I replaced with another brand wish new watch strap had same weight as this one.

UPDATE!In less than a month the band starts to yellow, looks dingy and gross, you can see in the pic just how yellow it’s gotten compared to the clear hard plastic part of the case. No longer will use and a waste of money. Do not buy if you don’t like dingy yellow “clear rubber”As is, this BandCase is pretty ok, there are a few things that could be done to make this worth the money, the main thing that could be improved is the crown dial, being plastic it makes it look pretty cheap. The band itself is a little stiff, a softer rubber would be more comfortable to wear. The only other thing I could say could be improved is the band stay, it doesn’t have that little hook inside it to keep it in place by catching on one of the band holes.But over all the BandCase is good, we’ll see how long it lasts. Update, lasted about a month.

I love this watch band/case. I was really excited to find this with the durability and appearance. I have had similar bands that end up falling apart after a couple of months and then I am concerned the watch is going to fall out of the case while I am surfing. This band locks the watch into place so there is no way for it fall out.The primary reason I bought this watch was so that it would be protected and secured when I am surfing or doing other activities. It would be perfect for this, but there are sharp edges on the case that dig into my hand/wrist when I am in the pushup position. I have found that I cannot surf, do pushups, yoga, or anything that causes my hand to lean back into the watch without cutting my hand open.I am hoping I can find this same watch band without those sharp edges because I love everything else about it.
