These work well. They erase well and are easy to sharpen to a fine point for detail work. I'd buy again.

I think this is the coolest product! It sharpens to a point just like a pencil, so it's easy to erase tiny areas! It's not a rubber eraser; it's actually kind of hard, almost chalky, in a way? It's NOT chalk like, but that's the best word I could use to describe it. Like I said, it IS kind of hard, but it's also soft enough to erase nicely. But it works great for me. Only thing is that it can tear your paper if you use it too much in one area, yes, other erasers can do that too, but to me this one will tear the paper quicker than other erasers. Overall, though, a GREAT product, and I would definitely recommend it to any artist!

These work great at removing pencil to give the the effect in the picture. Great value for the money ease of use in the perfect weight I highly recommend these pencil erasers. They definitely work out for all artists who need to get that extra realistic touch.

Thanks to other reviews, I gave these a try for c.p. erasing, and they do an excellent job. They cleanly erase heavy applications (I use a "burnishing" technique, which some call a "hard" technique, but the idea is to layer on the color until no paper color or texture is left). They didn't work as well on some colors, and I'm not sure why – I imagine it's because of the pigment in the pencil or the way it was applied (i.e., thickly without other colors or white to build up the color). They also didn't affect the surface much at all, and I was able to go back in with other colors without any problem.I'm a long-time professional illustrator that worked traditionally before going digital, and color pencils were heavily used in some of my techniques so I have a lot of experience with a variety of eraseres when it comes to eliminating or reducing color areas (say, to increase a reflected light on a form). These are easily as good or better than any I've used. Really glad to find something like this, since many of my favorite eraser pencil brands no longer exist.So if you're looking for a good/great c.p. eraser, these are as good as any ever made. No pencil eraser will do everything (even though these come close), so to fully erase the most stubborn areas the next item to consider is an electric eraser – they're cheap enough these days, and the speed at which the eraser turns really cleans up a trouble area quickly. Plus they're the best for adding textures since you can use them without excessive, repetitive hand motions. But as for pencil erasers, these are truly excellent.

I cannot believe a product like this exists! It’s ease to use and control, the rubber build up on the nib when erasing is minimal, and you can sharpen it with a normal pencil sharpener. I wish I had found this years ago but it’s about to become a staple in my art supplies.I especially like that I can control the thickness just by sharpening. And unlike the mechanical erasers, the width of the rubber and the pencil around it make it much more stable and easy to use.

I was looking for an eraser to use with colored pencils in tight spaces. After reading the reviews for various similar erasers, I decided on these. They're soft enough to erase well, but they don't wear down super fast. Additionally, I'm really pleased with how well they work even on dark, staining colors.

I had hoped the point would be finer and harder.

I bought a smaller set of mechanical erasers but after starting my class, knew I would need something a bit larger while in the learning stages. Love the sz and manageability of these erasers. Works well around edge areas you wish to correct.
