Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and fast.
Easy to use, no mess water transfer. One critique would be: if this is intended for food-safe liquids, it would be nice to supply a storage bag of some kind since keeping things clean is more important than the usual “fluid pump”. The optional lengths is pretty great, too.

Awesome if you understand the physics of a siphon
The container you're transferring the liquid to needs to be a little lower than the container you're drawing from, otherwise it'll still work as a hand pump but you can't get a gravity siphon if you're trying to put the liquid in a container that's at a higher elevation. Two good squeezes should get it started and going, the button to stop the siphon is great too. I do wish the hose was a bit longer but it can be extended pretty easily if need be.

It works. But it is a lot of work
I needed a pump to transfer drinking water from 5 gallon jugs into 1 gallon jugs. I needed a pump that would fit into the openings of both a 5 gallon water jug and also into a 1 gallon water jug, and would be able to reach all the way to the bottom of the 5 gallon jug. While this hand pump meets all of those parameters, it takes a lot ! of constant squeezing to get the water transferred. You squeeze and it transfers some water, you have to keep squeezing and squeezing.... it does exactly what it says. it is a hand pump.

Siphon
Arrived on time, tube has to big diameter to use for application I needed. Has fair suction.

Made In Korea
The company shouldn’t cover the “Made in Korea” on the box. Instead they should make it bigger and be proud of the fact. That’s what people like me want. The product itself is fairly cheap plastic. But people like me are willing to pay 3 times more for lower quality products if it is made in a democracy.

I've used these pumps before. They look cheap and cheerful, but they do the job.
I have spent 30 years of my life in the industrial chemical industry in the UK as a salesman and company owner of two chemical companies. We sold a lot of stock in 45 Gal drums and always supplied this type of drum pump FOC to our customers. We never had any complaints and if they wanted extras, we supplied them gladly. So, I am quite comfortable using this product for my water barrel.

It's cheap... loses suction
So.. long story short is I'm a beekeeper (hobby-scale, not commercial). When certain hives are low.. or it gets too hot out.. I tend to make a sugar/water mixture and what my intent is.. is to syphon from a very large pot (bigger than one you'd deep fry your turkey outside). When I hook up my mixture with the syphon - it tends to lose its suction (yes, I know about the knob to close off the air). How I 'was' able to use it was to just use it like a hose (in fact, I went out and bought an ACTUAL hose after this unit failed). I put the large pot higher than the new containers and let gravity keep the flow going. So.. my review is a 1.
