If you have never made a O ring, it can take a few times to get it right
The first kit I got was missing the O ring material, just hade the guide and a razor blade. Amazon made it good and sent me a complete kit and I was able to make a few o rings that I needed.

It worked for me. I had to replace a pool pump seal and it worked. I couldn't find the off size China pump part on online so I used the China O-Ring kit to make one. Wish I had the real stuff but price was a factor in this case.
