Every single plug works.
I went through quite few cheap plugs only this one works 10/10. Easy to put on the cable. Good value for money.

Fitted to solid core 23 AWG Cat6 cable
I fitted one to some Cat 6 solid core 23AWG cable and it crimped ok and works fine with my PoE Unify wireless access point that I ceiling mounted and needed to run a cable back to the PoE switch. Appears to give a solid connection and appears to crimp ok with solid core cable (time will tell I suppose!)Fair price, easier to fit due to push through design, just make sure you cut of excess with sharp, precise cutters to avoid and cores touching eachother, I suspect it's unlikely but with PoE I don't want to take chances.

Simple to use but make sure you have the correct crimper
Very easy to use. Good value. Just make sure that your crumpet is a pass-through crumpet that cuts the ends. Some cheaper crimpers need you to cut the wires to the correct length first.

Easier than the old way…
I have made thousands of ethernet cables over the years and this simple idea makes them so much easier. You can pull the cable through until it's seated, so you haven't got to get the length exactly right and you can check they went in right as they come out. I don't make enough since retiring to warrant buying a new tool, so I just crimp them with my old crimper and use a scalpel to cut off the excess. I could not get the recommended feeding technique of cutting across the wires at an angle to work at all - they kept bunching up. Cutting straight across still seemed to feed though much easier for me.

Bloomin awful.
Got these to fix a broken end of a long ethernet cable for my Mum's TV box and had no luck. I'm not a qualified cabler but have wired plenty of cables over the years with no trouble. There is no 'path' for the individual wires inside the housing, so you have to rely on luck and a very straight hand. Plus they're designed so the wires poke out at the end and need trimming. Just couldn't get them to work and wasted at least half a dozen before giving up and switching to wiring into a Cat5 socket instead.OK, I have a very old crimping tool which doesn't cut the ends off, but never needed to before as the wires would just push up the the contacts nicely.
