This topper is the truth! First off, my bed was rock hard. My hips would hurt after about 2 hours on my brand new mattress. I purchased this topper at full price. Let me tell you. It is so thick, so soft. It feels like a pillow top was added to my mattress. It did have stitching defects and a few black smears on the topper. But I knew it was not going to be perfect from the discription. I took it to the laundry and washed it, the black stuff did not come out but who cares once the sheets are on the bed. This topper made my $700 mattress feel like a $2000 mattress. I would but it again in a heartbeat.

You would think that a $60 product could withstand being placed on the bed...wrong.Yes, it said manufacturer defect in the listing, but come on. Rips and stains are not defects.The quality of the strech material is similar to gauze underware after surgery or giving birth...less quality though. The backing on the mattress topper is a thin paper polyester similar to the hospital disposable gowns.Picture 1 shows large stain. Pic 2 shows the sides riped when we pulled it over the dge. Pic 3 shows how one of the gussets on the underside split with the force of fingers.Very poor quality. The other reviews stated it was very comfortable, good value for price... NO

I purchased a high-density memory foam king size mattress a couple of years ago and placed a $35 mattress protector on it to keep it new. What I should have done is bought this topper when I bought the mattress instead. I no longer have to fight the sheets creasing underneath me each night, or tightening the entire sheet and protector before laying in bed. I no longer awake 3+ times per night with one side of me at 800°F and the other at -20°F. I no longer feel like I'm swimming in a sea of plastic grocery bags like a toddler that's being punished for wetting the bed too many times. I'm FREE! Once installed, this mattress pad adds firmness & support to my mattress. I don't sink in as much but that's just fine. It keeps me at a normal temperature this way but still provides plenty of comfort. Day 3 now, and I haven't had to adjust the fitted sheet over it at all. It fits tight and the pad underneath hasn't moved or bunched up anywhere. The fitted skirt on the pad is very nice as it doesn't just hook onto the corners, but allows me to place it over all edges of the mattress for a secure fit. My mattress is exactly 9" tall. It was disclosed that this mattress pad would have defects when purchased but I double checked the entire pad and didn't find anything that would be considered a defect. I'm not the only one that's beyond happy with this pad, my wife is a happy customer too! We plan to buy one for our kid and our guest room soon!PROTIP: At first it seemed like the mattress pad was a little too short on each side of the mattress, but then I noticed it was a little too long at the top and bottom. I rotated the pad and reinstalled and it fits like a glove with no spacing or extra pad hanging off. Try that before thinking it wasn't measured out correctly when made.

Purchased this to put on top of the VIBE memory foam mattress I purchased on Amazon. While the mattress was a good deal, I wanted to have a bit more cushion for side-sleeping and something to help it sleep cooler.This product worked. It gave just enough extra cushion to be noticeable and, more importantly REALLY helped with the heat build up of the foam mattress. Much cooler sleeping now and not waking up because of the heat.The stitching error that caused this to be a "2nd" was noticeable, but does not detract from the functionality of the cover. Fluffed up nicely.

I couldn't even find what was wrong with this mattress topper/pad! It's thick, pretty heavy, this is NOT one of those cheapie pads you get at Ollies or TJ Max that looks expensive but is really filled with cotton and smashes down flat in a week. It's not super fluffy, more squishy, so not that "cloud" like feeling which is great because those never last more than a month and hubby gets too hot. NO STRANGE SMELL!! Yaaaas!! So tired of getting these things and having the bed smell like an old tire. This smelled like nothing, literally. No smell. It's thick, so do be ready with some deep sided sheets. My normal king sheets weren't having it and popped off immediately but it's a small price. Hubs and I have slept the whole night through every night since adding this to the bed. No joint pains! Soooooo glad I bought this before spending twice the amount at BBandB or overstock. I will be buying more from this brand.

I did a lot of research before ordering a mattress pad. When ordering this pad, I was aware that it could have some defects and a few people did have "bad" issues. I took a chance because the good reviews outweighed the bad by a lot. I noticed (only after searching carefully) a few loose threads in the quilting. That's it! I was very happy with the quality and condition of the pad. Does it feel like a cloud? In my opinion; no. I have a very hard mattress and I really hate it. I could be the issue, not the pad. The princess and the pea syndrome, maybe? I did have a memory foam pad on the bed prior, so I simply put the pad over the memory foam when I realized I would be uncomfortable with just the pad. Problem solved. I have a 12" mattress and it fit great on the mattress alone. After putting the memory foam back on (another 2"), it still fit great. No bunching, no excessive pulling and I feel that if the foam was thicker, it would still fit great. I must admit that I did not put it in the sun or dryer as they instruct to fluff it up.Is it cooling? I do believe the bed is cooler than having the memory foam directly under me, but....having a new air conditioner installed a couple of weeks ago, I noticed I seemed warmer at night. After buying a thermometer, my room is as much as 4 degrees warmer than the rest of the house, so this is an air duct issue that will be addressed by the installer. It certainly does not make the bed warmer. All that being said, I am really happy that I took the chance and bought this pad at such a fantastic price. It is good quality at a fraction of what a Bamboo Mattress Pad would cost.
