I live in South Georgia, and I purchased this (for my business) just before Hurricane Michael came through our area with sustained winds of a Category 3 Hurricane. While I sat at home scared to death, I just knew this would be gone when I got back to see what happened to my business. Wow! It was still standing. Caveat: I used 18" rebar instead of the anchors that came with it. I had an employee hammer the rebar into the ground about 12", then hammer over sideways the top portion of the rebar until it was flat on the ground (in an L shape). I put one in each of the little triangle feet. It was dirty, but still there! Needless to say, I was impressed and glad I bought it!

Don't waste your time or money on any of the others carports on here. This is the one you want. The extra $150 is well worth it. I have a background in canvas and fabric and this one is made of heavy duty, water proof, outdoor material that will last for years. It is not a plastic tarp like the others. The frame is large diameter, powder coated pipe and assembly was easy. I did it by myself in about 10 minutes. All the poles are labeled A, B, C, D, and E and they are pre-drilled with little spring buttons that hold everything together. The instructions are easy to follow. That being said, installing the canvas was difficult to do single handed but I managed using a push broom and some squeeze clamps and working back and forth from one end to the other. Hindsight being 20/20, I would recommend assembling the roof part of the frame and laying the canvas over it while it's still on the ground before you raise it up onto the legs.

I purchased this on February 24, 2018. It's great. I bought a new car last Feb and it's been protecting it from the extreme Florida weather. It survived some really bad storms. It keeps my car clean and protected. You can close the the front for added protection. I usually keep the front open. Around March we have serious pollen problems in Florida so the front will be closed when that happens.
