Very Fun and Different
Got this game for my grandson (age 11) who loves DnD stuff. But even if you've never played any DnD at all, this is still a fun game. I've played several times with him and his dad (in his 30s) and brother (age 13), and I'm in my 60s, and we all have enjoyed this game quite a lot. There is some chance involved, but a lot of the game revolved around just making some choices, so it's easy for anyone to play but competitive and fun. Highly recommend this game!

Great game
This game is great. I recommend using pencils and having a good eraser nearby. Fun and easy to learn. 4 different dungeons to play with. A new favorite

Ok but not everyone's favorite
I wanted to give this a five star review but during the couple of times we attempted to play this, we were left with a couple of players that were overly frustrated so much so they just about walked away midgame. I wouldn't say this game is for everyone but definitely fun for players that enjoy dungeon exploring. It is possible that our faulty game might have been due to the maturity level of the players present. This does require simple math, luck of the dice roll and well thoughtout strategies. I don't think that our players grasped the dice mechanics and this was a bigger part of the frustration. No matter how many times it was explained, it became an ongoing issue at every roll that took away from the gameplay.I love that this are reusable maps and that there are different levels. Overall, I feel that the price was matched the experience and if I can get the players back to the table I would love to continue playing this game.

Fun and enjoyable repeat play
My spouse and i love this. Its a great evening game and crwated a lot of laughter. Only thing is i wish it had more than 4 maps. Also i wish the maps were dry erase instead of printed pages. Each play through changes the end bdcause no 2 rolls are alike

Gave as a gift
I've introduced a friend to games with dice games. I gave her this one for her birthday, while her husband was in the hospital for heart surgery. I wanted to keep her company in the long hours he needed to sleep and rest. We learned to play and have tried 3 out of 4 of the levels now. It's played with dice and a paper map you write on. You each choose how you want to use each dice roll, with the roller getting an extra dice to choose from. I can't wait to try the 4th level.

Cool Game, Different Mechanic
We’re a very active gaming household. Played this game with husband, myself and 11 year old who does well with strategy games and 8 year old who doesn’t. 8 year old dropped out very early on. It seemed too overwhelming for them. The rest of us can’t wait to play again! It seems a little complicated at first but once it gets going it’s pretty simple to understand. This game appealed to me because I’d never encountered a game with this type of mechanic. Very unique.

Fun, easy to learn
I have been enjoying this as a solo game but am happy that it won't be hard to teach friends.Unlike some games there isn't a finite number of turns...the game ends when someone defeats the boss then each players points are tallied. I like that aspect a lot. There are some "power" type blocks that benefit all players when one player has success with it.The art is very cool and whimsical. The paper is sufficient but not very heavy duty. You get plenty of maps...there are 4 of each distinct map design. It's a busy map and I plan on taking the cheapest route possible and using regular sheet protectors and dry erase markers.I'm not liking the wooden dice at all. For the money I would have really liked some fancier dice. Maybe bigger...maybe more colorful. You get 4 short presharpened pencils that ...don't have erasers and your first game or two you might need to correct something.Basically this could have been a print and play. There's nothing at all spectacular about the contents. My personal little gripe is I don't see how you can be in two places at once. You can attack the map from different sides of the map moving in from starter sections. That's seems like a lot of negativity but it is a fun little game anyway. You can play it on a small table or most places since there aren't components other than a map and the dice. Also this can encourage people to play who maybe aren't that into games since you don't unload tons of intimidating cards, counters and pieces. It's a very fine experience. It could've been better for the money though.
