My doggo likes to pull so much so that I dislike walking him. Was recommended this 2 hound no pull harness and leash by an animal volunteer person and never look back since. Although my doggo still pulls but is very manageable. Thanks for the great product. Highly recommend.

This is a very high quality, durable product. I got the Large which was recommended for German Shepherd and the girth part just fits my dog, maybe 1/4-1/2 inch to spare. My GSD is 66#, brown/black so little bigger in the torso than some of the slimmer grey/black GSDs. So my dog is at the bottom of their scale of 60-85#. Be sure to measure the chest of your dog to get accurate sizing. It took a bit of getting used to as I like to keep a tighter control, so wish the leash was adjustable. Also wish it was adjustable to keep dog from stepping into the triangular loop created by one part hooked to chest and one to back. Fortunately, she knows how to step out of it but when I drop the leash to let her run a bit, I am always worried about it tripping her up. (I know, I know, unhook the leash part - that's a big nope with this pup, I need to know I can grab it quickly.) The handle part of the leash is fairly soft, but still strong. The leash is harsher webbing (for durability). However when you need to grab it quickly to get control of a reactive dog it can be rough on the hands - didn't burn like some webbing does, though, which is good. The buckles are nice and hefty and seem very secure. They only fit one way, so make sure the girth piece isn't twisted if you have an impatient hound. I can't say this is a no-pull "all the time, every time" but does slow my dog down and she is better at staying by my side (until another dog walks by, that is, but such is life with a reactionary). Would I recommend it? Yes, overall, the quality is good.

Realized after I ordered this item CAN NOT BE RETURNED. To my relief the size I ordered for my puppy was perfect and will work for the next few months. He isn’t a bad puller but I just had back surgery and I was able to walk him around the block without too much strain. I don’t love that the dual leash gets caught if he switches side but we are working on loose leash walking in the long term. This is a good starting point but be very careful to order the right size or you will have an expensive mistake

/update for initial review. We’ve had this harness since late 2019? So 5ish years. It’s been worn & used *every* single day. Machine washed many times, rolled around in, pulled on, even chewed on a bit at the beginning. We finally had to replace it this week. Not because it broke or anything but because the velvet has worn off making it look a bit ratty & she’s experiencing a bit of chafing under her arms. This harness lasted longer than most of my recent jackets & shoes. 😂 It never broke, it is still very sturdy & we trust it to hold our reactive girl. If I had time I’m sure I could sew a fabric covering for the under arm section but I don’t. So yes, we just purchased a second one! We’re keeping the old one as a backup/spare just in case. These folks make a quality product. /original review Excellent control for a reactive puller. The front clip allows for me to swivel her on a dime when she starts pulling. This turns her suddenly and helps snap her out of the "reactive focus" and we can continue walking in the other direction while desensitizing her to the trigger (kids/bikes/dogs). This harness has enabled me to go on walks with her that are now generally pleasant instead of constant stress/fighting/pulling. She's even started to sit and wait when other dogs walk by. Takes time and patience but this harness is a helpful tool (edit/ that’s what it is! Only a tool. It won’t *solve* behavior issues) in the toolkit of training a reactive pup. The only down side I've found is that the double leash get's wrapped up / tangled in itself as she turns around. I've attached a short swivel leash to the handle loop. It also gives me a few extra feet for her to feel around in and it prevents the leash tangle. You could buy a short stubby handle on a swivel to replace the handle of the double leash but I recommend the designer to consider putting a swivel between the handle and the double leash section instead.
