My 2011 GLK had some torque converter shudder in high gear low load. RPM would fluctuate by 100 on the tach. I figured I’d change the fluid and filter, drain torque converter and flush the system one more time before I was sure the torque converter was bad. On initial test drive, the symptoms were still there, but the next day the car behaved perfectly. No more shudder. I’m pretty amazed. Must be some good quality trans fluid.

After a lot of research, this kit appeared to be of high quality and included everything I needed. I did also order a filler adapter separately and borrowed a fluid pump from my brother in law who is a mechanic. There are some helpful videos on youtube. Some info to keep in mind. This is not you average fluid change. My vehicle is a 2012 e350 722.9 trans. It does not have a dipstick tube and requires a fill pump. Also the pan bolts are one time use, so the kit includes a new set that must be torqued and stretched (mine were 35 in/pounds + 180 degree turn). Kit also included torque convertor plug and new copper ring for pan plug.The hardest part of the job for me was getting the TC plug out. It was at an awkward angle to the access hole and I had to modify a few allen keys to get to it. Car shifts great. You could shop and save some $ but I would buy this kit again.

I had a transmission professional use the kit. He had no complaints. My transmission was not working smoothly prior to the service. The RPM would slightly wander up and down in every gear. After the service works perfectly. I cannot claim servicing the transmission with any other kit would have produced a different result.

I thought this kit was great. Everything I needed was there and the price was decent considering I have to use the transmission oil with a blue hue to it. Parts were an exact match to what I replaced, including the green colored extension piece that allows the transmission oil to be pumped into the pan without having it all run out. If this product is still available when I do my next transmission oil change, I am definitely buying it.

This kit includes everything you need. Not everyone has a drain plug on their model for the torque converter, but, a new plug is included. Numerous YouTube videos explain how to change your ATF. Be sure to watch them! I will buy again!

Great product package. First time using Ravenol ATF oil. Shifing of my car improve right away. I will use oil from Ravenol on my SL550, too. Will try their engine oil in future. Ravenol knows German cars!!!
