Q: Will these fit a coleman peak 1 expedition stove? they used the powermax bottles which you can no longer get.

NO, this adapter will NOT fit the Coleman Peak 1 Expedition Stove (that takes the Powermax fuel cannister)...the Coleman Powermax fuel was discontinued in 2011, and was another MAJOR COLEMAN SCAM. The Powermax cannister does NOT have threading, and was proprietary to Coleman...they did this to capture the fuel use on the Expedition, but then got caught in 'low volume' issues. Therefore, you've got a stove without an upgrade OR a fuel supply. Coleman has turned into a TERRIBLE company.

Q: Does this have a regulator built in? If not, isn't that dangerous?

Your camp stove should have a flow adjustment but yes you can adjust the adapter with a small flat head screwdriver but i would leave it set to factory specifications works just fine.

Q: is this sold as a pair as pictured or a single unit. I order 1 - will I get 1x or 2x?

In February of 2019, when I bought mine, they came as a pair. In 2020 with the ‘Rona and all the import issues... ya never know.
