Finally, an interchangeable sock needle set
Interchangeable needles are so nice. I can carry a single bag with me and have every needle I might need. My favorite needles have been Addi Clicks, but they are not available in sock sizes, I guess because they were never able to get the connector small enough. For socks, I've had to use Addi Sock Rockets, which are nice enough but not interchangeable. This HiyaHiya set is the first set of interchangeable sock needles I have seen. They're steel, so in theory they aren't as slippery as the Addi ones, but in practice I can't feel any difference. The yarn slides around on these nicely for working magic loop. The cables are thin and flexible, also perfect for magic loop, and the needle/cable join is smooth. I've given these cables a good strong tug and they're nice and tight, they aren't going to come loose. The set comes with the usual set of sock needle sizes, though the size 2 ones are not as long as the others. However, those needles can be used with the thicker cables that come with the larger HiyaHiya interchangeable set, and there's an adapter that extends the needle length for use with the thinner cables, so effectively, in use, it's the same length at the others. There's one additional join with the size 2s but it's nice and smooth and not at all noticeable with use. These needles are called 'Sharp', and trust me, they're not kidding. Normally I move stitches around by pushing on the point of the needle. You want be careful with these else you will poke holes in your fingers. However, the sharp points are great for working with thin sock yarn because you can work tiny stitches or cables without splitting the yarn.If I were to find a single fault, it's not with the needles themselves. I'm not overfond of the case. It has an odd sort of closure that consists of a loop of fabric that hooks over a knot. The knot is only stuck on with a single thread and mine has already come off. You can actually buy this needle set without the case for a bit less money, and if you do that you can get a case that you like, maybe one of the DellaQ ones. Or, if you already have the HiyaHiya larger interchangeable set, there are enough extra needle slots in that case to add these.Either way, these are really nice sock needles!

So much easier to use than dpns.
This is my first interchangeable sock set. And, I am in love. I had given up on finding interchangeable sock needles as most tips 3 and larger are great for interchangeable needles, but only above that size. Any needle smaller than a size 3, the joins wouldn’t work, and would constantly snag my yarn, and were a complete hassle to use. Even some of the fixed needles of tiny size were pretty rough at the join. And, while I love to wrestle with double pointed needles that are teeny tiny, and difficult to work with... these are so much better, smoother and faster to use with tiny projects. These needles are silky smooth, no issues with sliding my yarns over the joins, and the cable is PERFECT for magic loop sock knitting. My larger size cables are mostly too stiff, and I almost always end up with little ladders up the sides of my socks. Not so with these beauties. They are the perfect level of flexibility and strength for teeny sock yarns, with don’t stretch my yarns to unholy messiness. These are my new go-to for socks.

Great - but SHARP
Just like it's name, it is indeed very sharp and may hurt you if you accidentally poked yourself with it. BUT, it's great for knitting yarns that have the tendency to slip because with its sharp point, it could easily maneuvered through the fibers. I am a beginner knitter, had only made socks with it but I like it so far.A few down sides:- The fabric case that's hard to button on and have no proper tie to it, causing the needles to possibly fall off when you tip it upside down.- You need additional connector for smaller needles, making it extremely long needles (it could be downside or good feature, actually. depends on what you used it for)Other than that, it's a great purchase.

Wonderful knitting needles
Perfect needles for socks. The needles are sharp and the flexible cables work so beautifully. It comes in the sizes that I need for fine needlework. The set is in a holder that is elegant and classy. I'm so happy I bought this set.

False advertising.
This is not specifically about the product, it is exquisite, like all Hiya Hiya products. I don’t know about anyone else, but if I’m going to pay this much money for something, I expect the webpage to describe accurately and in detail what is contained in this order. The picture on the front shows 7 prs of needle tips. This is not correct. There are only five needle tips, 3 prs of 5” tips, 2 prs of 4” tips. Just beware.

Love this set!
This set of interchangeable needles is great! The needle tips are very sharp, but after just a few stitches it was obvious they are perfect for working with the thin yarns and tight stitches to knit socks. The adapters and cord connections are very secure and they do not snag the yarn. These are now the only needles I will use to make socks. So glad I got them!!

Fantastic tips and cables
These are a complement to my other Hiyahiya sharp circulars. The small sizes are ideal for making things with sock or fingering weight yarn. The joins are nearly seamless and the cables have no memory. The tips are sharp. Cables are easy to attach to the tips and they don't unwork themselves. There are not as many accessories in this as you get with the other interchangeable kits from HiyaHiya. The case is quite pretty. Mine was a teal fabric.

I’m so mad
I’m so angry. I bought these for myself in December but I’m only getting to the project I purchased them for today. I have two other Hiya Hiya sets. The needle tips are too large for the cables. All of them. I realize now that I should’ve checked but I have so many Hiya Hiya products that I didn’t think it would be a problem. I wasted $80 on this.
