I wouldn't've have thought so. I purchased a one arm camera holding vest that has a Velcro's strap that fits around the chest that hold the camera a just the right location and very steady. That might be a good option for you. They are inexpensive and made specifically for doing this work.

If your camera has a body clip it should work

The harness has velcro strips stitched into the vest so its fully adjustable. You simply pull apart and wrap the vest around you until its comfortable so you should be fine. Kind regards Richard
