I thought I was ordering a julius k9 harness. So when it arrived I was quite disappointed but it did explain why it was cheaper. Over all it works and looks the same as julius-k9 except its not as strong but has so far held up to my 75 pound pitbull doberman mix. My dog is very friendly loves kids dogs cats ferrets and lets our hamster crawl all over her, but she was abused as a puppy and now shes terified of anything new including strangers. I bought this harness in hopes people would stop trying to pet deja without my permission and it works it saves me from explaining her past over and over again. Shes never bit but she does bark and scare people ive only had a week so far working fantastic. No one has even attempted to pet her and now keep their distance from her best 30 dollars ever spent definitely worth it. Words arent as big as you expect but they still do their job and best of all its reflective. I can even fit Deja's petsave easy walk harness under it so she cant pull. The handle is wonderful for when some idiot let their dog off leash and it darts into the street. And the harness is a nice comfy fit would buy again in a heart beat and have already recommend to an instagram friend. Patches are strong velcro so you can replace or remove the patches if you like which is also really cool.. I believe 100 percent it will hold up and stay nice for a really long time. UPDATE: its been a few months the harness still does its job very well I might add. The harness quality has not worn any since I bought. Works great. Would recommend this product to anyone who has a nervous dog, service dog, working dog, or a potentially dangerous dog. It works wonders for us.

Although I just got it, this vest seems really sturdy and well built, and works fantastic to encourage strangers to keep their distance. I use this for my 4 month old GSD puppy as he’s in training and I want him to ignore people around him and pay attention to me, which is difficult if he’s expecting to be petted by every stranger he meets. I probably wouldn’t recommend using it for leading if your dog really likes to pull, since the front strap is just Velcro, but I lead with a collar or chain so it works great for my purposes. My puppy’s girth is 23” and I ordered the 24-31” size so he’ll have room to grow, and it fits loose but it works. The straps and buckle are pretty wide but it doesn’t seem to bother him or hinder his movement, he has gone for walks and practiced long sits and downs without any problem.

So I ordered this item twice, and almost gave up in fury. Why you ask? (you didn't, I'm sorry) Because I received the wrong item TWICE. Not two different items, or incorrect sizes. The same wrong item in the same size. I kept receiving the DO NOT PET dog vest with mesh, which, if you've ever read their reviews, are incredibly tiny and don't actually fit a lot of dogs. Needless to say, not only was it the wrong item, but the medium was tiny. So I contacted Doggie Stylz directly, and I am so glad I did, because they were incredibly understanding and sent me a new correct harness. Not only that, they told me to keep the incorrect one (I still had one after sending the first back and trying to reorder...hence getting the second one which was still wrong) and give it to a dog that might need it. I was very impressed with their customer service, and it's now my favorite harness for my pup to wear when walking or going on a run. Super easy to slip on and off, and fits her beautifully. Plus it let's people know that not all dogs want you to be in their face. TL;DR: If you get the wrong item, talk to Doggie Stylz. They will take care of you. I love the color and fit of this harness for my GSD. My boy walks right into it with ease so we can go for our walks. So far the harness is holding up structurally. I am very disappointed that the letters are coming off of the velcro tabs; it has only been a week!! The whole purpose of this harness for me is to have the "DO NOT PET" on the sides of it to let people know that my dog needs space. Once he is ready for the velcro tab to come off, it won't be a problem. However, this product should hold up better than this! UPDATE: It's the end of the first month of my boy wearing this and even more letters are coming off! The harness itself is holding up well and I still love how it fits him. However, since it is sold WITH the lettered velcro straps, the darn letters should last longer. Yes, I could buy another strap, but why? This one didn't last a month! I will be requesting a replacement in hopes it was a fluke and I just received a poor quality one. Grrr...I dislike having to send things back, but I want all the lettering "DO NOT PET" for a reason.

This is a wonderful harness! Super well made. Velcro is strong and makes it hugely adjustable. My boy is a rescue and guardian dog breed. He doesn’t like random people coming up to pet him, and he feels like he needs to protect me (which I appreciate! I’m older, live alone. Little man not needed!) We haven’t been in public yet, but I’m hopeful this will allow him to walk around without everyone wanting to touch/crowd him. The harness is very easy to put on, can be adjusted all ways, and will not interfere with his normal collar/leash combo.

Harness is nice looking and fairly well made but we’ve only had it a month and the writing on the Velcro tags has already come off.

We got this harness because our dog is very apprehensive with strangers. He adores his family and close circle of friends but gets high anxiety in public places or when strangers approach him or his “people”. He barks, lunges and even attempts to bite. I got to the point where I was actually afraid to take him in public for fear that he would actually bite someone. He is only 25 lbs and pretty harmless, but I couldn’t take the risk and people approach him all the time because he looks so cute and friendly. We have used the harness several times already and I can already see that he prefers this one over his other harness. He doesn’t get frightened to slip it on like he did with his previous one. The velcro in the front threw me for a loop at first and since it didn’t come with instructions, it took a few minutes of fiddling with it to figure out that you velcro it once and then leave it like that and simply slip it over the dogs head to use after that. Our dog is an excellent walker and the clip being on the back was no different than other harnesses that we have used. I can already tell that people are more inclined to stay away now that he is wearing this. I love that the velcro strips are easily switched in and out so that we can interchange with other sayings and not just “do not pet”. This harness has already given me peace of mind in public. If people approach him now or attempt to pet without asking, at least I can say I’ve done my part. Our dog is a mini Australian Shepherd and the small fit perfectly!
