Picked this up to use with my Buff soft boxes that I picked up second hand from a studio that was doing cleanout. Works great! Quality build and easy to use.

If you are buying this to switch out the mounts for the Paul C Buff soft box, note that the is approximately a few centimeters smaller. It will not be an exact fit. I was aware of that before buying it. I did my research prior—I came across one, that’s an exact fit not sold on amazon but through a private website, it was 3x the price of this one.Anyways, don’t worry purchase this product and replace Paul’s plastic washers that holds the mount with a slightly bigger metal washer. Works like a charm! Also note this product is coming from China so be patient in regards to shipping time.

I have a few different mounting flanges, and they all do not fit into my amaran light dome mini. This one however does, I only bought it because of the images that show in the description give the dimensions of the diameter.

Used this little collar, to convert Paul C. Buff, hard beauty dish to Bowens mount. This collar and three dollars worth of screws saved me over one hundred dollars and gave me back a usable tool. I have read that this mount is flimsy, however I am not in the habit of doing chin ups from my modifiers. Appears sturdy enough, 'for what I do'.

Any Paul Buff users out there looking for a conversion....this piece WILL do the trick. It's a little smaller, but works great. I'm loving the durability of the PB modifier, but with the flexibility of a bowen's mount. If you are needing to convert, look no further.

As stated by another reviewer, this item works perfectly to convert a Paul C Buff beauty dish. Mark and drill 3 holes in the dish and attach with threaded screws and nuts and you’re all set.
