Salomon Men's Outbound Prism Hiking Shoes

Love these shoes. They are super comfortable, seem like a great quality typical for Salmon products. I am glad I had read some of the reviews, talking about these particular shoes running big. Ordered a half size down from what I normally wear, and sure enough, they are a perfect fit. Highly recommend doing the same. Hope these puppies will last a while. I will definitely buy another pair.

I just want to say... Salomon is pricey. This is their cheap end - but my wife and I took a chance on their products via Amazon Wardrobe. I got the Tech Lite, she got the Sense Flow and neither of us are disappointed at all. The Tech Lite is extremely lightweight, and the way it's made, and the materials, keeps it cool and breathable. The downside to that is your feet get wet with any amount of water. But on a dry day, or going without socks, these are extremely easy to live in. I keep these on all day long without any sort of ache,chafe, or other nuisances in areas that are not climate controlled. They look awesome, feel awesome, and it's only got me wanting to try more of their products.10/10, will buy again.

Size was to size but the toe box was wider than I expected. It makes the shoe feel a little big. The heel slid out just a little bit. After wearing them for 3 or 4 days things seemed to settled in. I've gotten used to them and like them. They look cool and are comfortable. The heel slipping is ever so slightly still there but I feel they stay on my foot fine. Not a perfect fit but I like them well enough. I'd say they're worth the $80 or so.

I like these shoes a lot they look great and have good traction. The support is minimal but I actually like it. You feel the grip of the shoe through your foot because of it. Good for style or athletics but probably not super durable over time.

Great quality, comfortable, and durable. Not only is the shoe great, but the company has a great rapport and fantastic customer service. I had an older model pair of the same shoes and the company replaced them after a slight manufacture defect caused a separation between the shoe and the soul. This is my fourth pair and I love them.

I’ve been a fan of Salomon for decades when I started out with their legendary ski and hiking gear. These shoes live up to their description. They are a great urban walker, and their Contagrip sole is great for o light jog on gravel or dirt paths. I’m not sure I would due any hard pavement running in them. That’s not what they or their insoles were designed for. One reviewer said their insoles were “crap”. However, Salomon uses a thin Ortholite insole which is excellent for this purpose. They will compress over time so you will need to replace them at some point. Amazon has a ton of brands, even Ortholite. I have many hikers and sneakers, but I needed a new white pair and wanted a “gum” looking sole. These are gum in color but much better than gum. You get the look from the side but much more function. They have a minimal lug pattern that grips well on most any surfaces. And instead of a blinding optic white, they are a super, super light greyish color that looks great and should work with anything you would want to wear with a white sneaker. Yes I like Salomon, I also like many other brands. But this is becoming one of my favorite around town and off pavement urban hiker. For me, the fit was as expected. I highly recommend these.

The quality of the shoes out matches its price. The sole is thicker than my previous speedcross, but lighter in weight. The color can match any type of colored outfit and style. It perfectly fit my foot despite me being wide footer. Comfortable to wear, so using it in long hike would not pose any problem.
