A Woman's Heart

One thing I have noticed about Celtic music is how many female artists there are and how excellent they are as musicians and instrumentalists. This CD is a great introduction to both Celtic music and music by women. Each of the artists on this CD is top-notch. Each has a different style. With this CD, I discovered Eleanor McEvoy. Her style is very contemporary, but still good. I think this album would be good for anyone who needs to know that women can be great musicians, singers and songwriters--the evidence is on the disc.

I bought this in Ireland years ago and lost it . I loved it the first time I bought it and I love it now that I am able to listen to it again.

I had this cassette years ago, always loved it. Recently purchased it again to help in dealing with a loss. Heartfelt collective women's music, about love, life, loss, and love of the lands we're rooted in.

This is one of my all time favorite music collections sung by various women artists. Fantastic renditions of songs old and new! Beautiful voices, wonderful tunes! I tend to listen over and over to many songs on this album. Highly recommended!Rachman

I have loved this CD for years. We got it from Ireland but lost it, and then I found it again on Amazon. It is a great introduction to Celtic music and excellent women performers. So many of the songs are simply beautiful, and the women all have different styles and voices. You will find yourself humming this songs for years to come. Excellent CD.

I heard about this CD on international radio andthe music is amazing. The title song "A Woman's Heart" truly covers what women go through in lifeand I found it spoke to me profoundly. It isa happy/sad song.The rest of the songs are also wonderful and cover a range of life situations. Thequality of singing from the different artists makes it interesting. The music has an Irishflavor that is enchanting.
