Great product
Lasted for a good while and got plenty of use. Eventually the antenna broke (kiddo) and it stop functioning. We purchased another leapfrog (different model) because we enjoyed it. Nice with two cameras ( gave a couple angles in the crib) when he moved and because no WiFi easier for travel. Nightvision was great and easy to use.

Love this monitor
We bought this open box as a secondary monitor for our room before baby moves to crib. New parents installed fancy smart monitor over crib before realizing she wouldn’t be sleeping in there for months. Sure it doesn’t have the “smart” features of a wi-if monitor but we might like this one better. It’s used at grandmas now mostly due to the large screen and noise settings. The picture is excellent. The pan of the camera works great. We set it on a dresser next to the bassinet and it’s flexible enough it could look down into the bassinet and give us a full view. Love that you can move camera view from the parent station and doing so is SILENT. there is no major distraction/light on the camera to keep baby awake. The screen is huge. When the volume is off on the parent monitor there are still red/green lights to let you know if there is sound being picked up from the camera (the visual aid is helpful for grandma who can’t hear quite as well). The screen is incredibly bright which is good unless you want to check on baby while sleeping in the same room (just me then??). Also love that you can turn off the screen to save battery but keep monitor on for sound only.

Absolute must have!
Love love LOVE this monitor! We recently upgraded to the dual camera monitor from the single camera one to accommodate baby #2’s arrival. Only complaint is the parent monitor doesn’t have the best battery life but that’s the only “issue”. I love that it’s great quality, has an amazing range for the view angle, that it’s NOT WiFi capable and that it overall works amazingly. It’s easy to mount on the wall and you can also buy a floor stand for this from V-Tech. It’s got great sound quality and is super easy to set up! I’ve recommended it to every single parent to be that I know!

Battery Lasts FOREVER!!!
This monitor has it's pros and cons but the battery life absolutely makes up for the cons. I took my monitor off the charger around 7:30PM. I forgot to plug it back in so it was on ALL night until my youngest woke up around 8:30AM. I turned it on again for their 2.5 hour nap and then again when they went to bed around 8PM. It wasn't until 1AM I got the alert that the battery was low. THAT'S A 19.5 HOUR BATTERY LIFE (if my math is mathing right...)! Definitely THE longest lasting baby monitor battery ever. I've Tried Baby Sense, Infant Optics, Summer Infant, Etc., all only lasting ~3hrs MAX. Pros: GREAT battery. Obviously High quality picture Split screen option Cons: Kind of laggy in general Extremely laggy when on split screen display The lowest sound setting is too loud and the highest sound setting isn't quite loud enough I WILL SAY, my children are now 3 and 5 so I don't rely on them as much as I did when they were infants. For infants, I 100% recommend the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO. VERY reliable, clear and not laggy... but you WILL be charging often. I would NOT recommend Baby Sense. Their customer service is great, however, I went through FOUR monitors. They all had amazing display but would only last 1-3 weeks before shutting off and never turning back on. That is all. :)

brings me peace
i did so much research when going to buy a baby monitor. I went to reddit, Tiktok, read review on here, and other baby websites as well. many people had different opinions on baby monitors but I ended up choosing this one. and boy am I satisfied beyond belief with it. the monitor is pretty large compared to other monitors ive seen and its super simple to use. there a button to power it on, a button to speak through the camera, button for volume control, a button to switch to night vision vs color, and a button to press for the menu to adjust any settings. The LCD screen does darken after a while of being on but does not turn off all the way unless you have a setting enabled or turn the LCD off (you will still be able to hear sound with this option). Ive heard some people complain about the battery life but ive had no problem with it. as long as you charge it every night, the battery goes pretty far (ive just gotten into the habit of charging it along side my phone at night) and you can even use it while its being charged as well. The monitor also tells you the temperature and humidity of the room baby is in as well and if its too cold the numbers turn blue and if too hot, they turn red. the sound quality is pretty good as well, sound are just delayed by a couple of seconds. dont have the volume up on the monitor? no problem. the monitor will also light up different colors when noise is heard. little noises are green, and if a loud noise (like crying) is heard, the light turns red (I personally enjoy this because if im in a at home meeting and i cant have the noise on, ill just watch for the lights). the camera can turn 360 degrees and look up and down. theres also a zoom option for 1X, 2X, 4X, and 8X. 8X does tend to look alittle grainy but not too bad. on the camera itself, there is a option to turn on the camera light. i usually leave it off because that light is super bright and my daughter doesn't sleep to well with it on her face (cant blame her). the range on the connection between the monitor and the camera is really good. my home is made of brick and i have a tin roof so I sometimes have trouble with electronics connecting to each other. Although, i can be in my front yard while she's sleeping in her bassinet on the other side of the house. Another big factor is that this monitor does not have app u need to download on your phone and there's no subscription you have to pay to "unlock" new features, this monitor doesn't even connect to WIFI! its all done through Bluetooth that connects the monitor and the camera so i dont have to worry about any creeps hacking on my monitor. Overall, I am over the moon about this baby monitor. I will 100% be telling friends and family about it and if anyone asks which one I prefer, it would be this one.

I have tried 5 different baby monitors since my son was born in August. I've finally found a good one! This monitor is amazing. The picture quality is so clear, including the night mode. I love the 8x zoom feature and the night light on the camera that is easy to turn on and off with just a tap. The battery life is phenomenal (I still plug it in to charge overnight). My only con about this camera is there is a 1-2 second delay with the sound. So sometimes I will hear my son before the monitor picks up his noise.

After trying out 3 monitors, this is the one. Connects immediately, picture is great, price point isn’t ridiculous, battery life is great, sound is great too. Best monitor with no issues at all.

I have tried out several camera non wifi. I don’t want to get hacked x this is the most clear of them all. Only negative is the battery is not great but it is better than the other camera like vtech and summer infant non wifi. Also the picture on this camera is crystal clear
