will this work on driveshaft u-joints on cars and trucks

What is the outside diameter of the tip? I have a very tight spot to get to the zerk.

The diameter is 3/5 of an inch. We also offer tight space adapters if needed

whats the diamiter of this tip ?

Outside diameter of the tip is .630 a tad over 5/8”.

Will this work with recessed grease zerks with nearly exact dimension for standard coupler?

The OD if the LockNLube Grease Coupler is 5/16 (16mm) which is about 1mm larger than a standard coupler.

Wrong size

Great product, but the diameter was bigger than what I needed for my application. Returned it and bought Thinkwork brand, which is a smaller diameter and does the same.

Great tool

This thing is amazing. Locks onto the zert, all grease goes inside the joint and none on the outside. Easy to remove from the fitting.

The longer version is much easier to use than the shorter one. With out considering the difference, I bought two short ones. After using them one day, I ordered the longer one. I used the rebuild kit from the new one to rebuild my older long one.
