I had these in my wish list for a really long time. The price deterred me from buying them despite how lovely they are. I ended up buying some cute, wooden s&p grinders that wore out after a month. This prompted me to make the splurge & buy the salt & pepper mills. I get the happy feeling every time I use them. They are very solid and they grind perfectly. They are easy to use and they look great.

Just spent $30k redoing the kitchen, not including appliances. It was quite an upgrade and wanted a really nice peppermill to compliment the refit. The mechanism works smoothly, grind is consistent with more than adequate volume, and it looks more upscale than plastic. I expect it will be around long enough to develop the desired patina that causes other reviewers to complain. Worth the money? Probably not. Would I buy it again? Yup.

It actually works very well as a pepper grinder, but the pieces don't fit together tightly as I would have hoped. It does look nice though but the top piece rattles. Overall it works as intended, but I wish that the craftmanship of it was a little bit better.

This seems to be a very nice pepper mill. It doesn't have the marketing of the pepper cannon, and it doesn't seem to be nearly as popular. I'm not sure how much better something like that is compared to this. It's really the only pepper mill that I have owned besides the one that I grew up with and the plastic grinders included on some peppercorn containers. This grinder seems to work very well, though, and I like the leverage that the handle provides. I think this might be BIFL-quality, but time will have to tell. Others with this mill generally seem to be happy, but others have noted deterioration in some of the components. I think it's important to follow the manual which notes things that you shouldn't do with it in regards to usage and cleaning.

Worked great for 6 months, now it’s broken. The top nut holding the handle doesn’t catch so it is completely useless now. For over $100 this is unacceptable.

I've purchased a half dozen of these Greek grinders for home and gifts. The throughput as amazing. Lasts forever. Seems pricey until your realize the quality of the item.

Well delivered and wrapped . Beautiful pepper mill, looks lovely in my kitchen. Just needs a wipe with a cloth to keep it looking good - will last a life time

This is exactly what I expected! Its looks great on the dinner table and on display on the counter too! It really gets noticed! Best of all it is functional

This pepper grinder is well worth the money - not only does it do a great job of grinding the pepper, but it looks great on my counter. Definitely recommend!
