Honeywell7 Day Programmable Thermostat

I had trouble seeing my old thermostat. This one has much larger, lighted numbers and was easily installed. One thing however. The instructions on line contradict those in the box. Do call the company for quick info on this one internal switch. Works excellently.

This product works well for the my furnace...The text is too small on the screen and the GUI is really bad to use. Just to make one change you have to scroll through the entire weeks worth of settings...Would buy something better next time. Cheap product that works if that is what you are looking for.

Easy installation! I was nervous because I was (kinda sorta sneakily) replacing the manual, analog, non programmable thermostat in my new apartment so that I actually *know* what temperature the thermostat is on and I can save myself money by programming it for when I'm away. I was worried that the wires may be different or that I may have a more complicated HVAC system than I thought, but I shouldn't have been. The old thermostat is a Honeywell and it's just your basic electric a/c unit. Same 4 wires to the same 4 connection labels. It took me maybe 30 minutes to get it installed and most of that was just getting everything disconnected to reconnect it.You do have to program each day but I am okay with that. In fact, I prefer it that way as I work Saturday through Wednesday, so I don't have weekends off. My schedule also changes occasionally based on what events I'm going to. I like having the freedom to adjust each day to my needs. The only thing that I kinda don't like is the 5 min delay after the unit turns off before it turns back on. I know it's a safety feature and it's for my protection, but when it first happened I thought maybe the unit was broken. I'm in Georgia too so it was like well on it's way to over 85F just in the time I had the A/C off so I was freaking out. It was getting hot and I needed the air on. I just turned it off and then back on after 5 minutes and everything worked though.For the price, I can't really complain. I don't plan on being in this apartment for very long so I didn't want to invest in anything fancy. So far, it's doing it's job and it's doing it well.If it ever changes, I'll be back to let ya'll know.

Unfortunetly the first thermostat did not work. Now the second one we ordered the switch for cool, off or heat only works in the cool and off positions. We did not realize this until we needed the heat on in our facility about a week ago here in Arizona. Also, it's past the refund deadline so we are going to have to order and purchase a third thermostat.

Easy to program. Works well and operates as expected. Good investment.
